Clearview Park Golf Course

The course has not been maintained as well as it could be. the greens were very spoty and bumpy. You could not even think about making a putt over 10 feet. could not read the greens due to the lack of growth of the grass.

The fairways were no better than the rough just a little shorter. Over all i give this course a 1 out of 5 and probably will not be coming back.

We’ve played here a dozen times the last decade. The last time being the summer of 2019. Although the conditions were poor at the time, we decided to try it yesterday. Unfortunately it was even worse. Very poorly maintained with greens that resemble a moonscape. I and my buddies understand that it’s a NYC public course but , still it’s a mess. Douglaston Golf Course is significantly better.

There were no fairways you have to look for your ball on each shot. It was all rough no fairway. The greens were damage and contain many black and dead spots. Golf now should refund my greens fees

I played this course about 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. The course is now in shambles and chaos. The greens have weeds growing on them so the putting isn't fun at all. They didnt have enough carts so we had to wait 20 minutes extra to tee off. The pace was extremely slow. Will not play here again.

All I kept saying was I cannot believe I paid to play here. I would never go back. The greens are HORRIBLE.... crab grass everywhere and where the are the fairways???? The course looks like it hasn’t been maintained Since it’s been opened. You should be able to Play here for free.

Course is in bad shape greens are dirt n mud. No fair ways all crab grass clearly no one took care of it during COVID what a shame. That's the tee box n fairway

The course was horrible, I invited my clients and I was embarrassed. The course was unplayable . They drove off after nine holes. There was no fairway you have look for your ball on every supposedly fairway. The greens were beaten up and had many black and bare spots. The tee box was hard and bare.

Was 2nd group out and round took 4.5 hrs.

They should pay u to play there.

The fairways and roughs are not trimmed. This course is a disgrace to even be considered a golf course

The greens were all warped with dirt patches and indentations. The worst course I have ever experienced.

Need to clearly lay out fairways

Need to fix 800 divots and grooves on all the greens terrible field maintenance !

Staff was extremely friendly and nice definitely not worth the amount of money spent !!!

This is one of my favorite courses. However Covid-19 and the lovely DiBlasio administration destroyer this course. Crab grass everywhere. Greens destroyed by bugs. In top of that there is a huge backup bc everyone is waiting for carts. We opted to walk even though our reservation included prepaid carts. Thankfully the staff was kind enough to work that out for us. Bc we did so we flew threw out round in under 4 hours. However we were not prepared to walk. I place no blame on the course or their staff. It all lies in the city who will not let them run as efficiently as surrounding counties and who was in charge of taking care of the course while they were not allowed to open. Hopefully you guys will get the course back to its usual condition by early next year.
