Clearview Park Golf Course

All I kept saying was I cannot believe I paid to play here. I would never go back. The greens are HORRIBLE.... crab grass everywhere and where the are the fairways???? The course looks like it hasn’t been maintained Since it’s been opened. You should be able to Play here for free.

Course is in bad shape greens are dirt n mud. No fair ways all crab grass clearly no one took care of it during COVID what a shame. That's the tee box n fairway

The course was horrible, I invited my clients and I was embarrassed. The course was unplayable . They drove off after nine holes. There was no fairway you have look for your ball on every supposedly fairway. The greens were beaten up and had many black and bare spots. The tee box was hard and bare.

Crabgrass in the fairways.

Was 2nd group out and round took 4.5 hrs.

They should pay u to play there.

The tee boxes were either dirt patches or very high grass.

The greens were all warped with dirt patches and indentations. The worst course I have ever experienced.

Need to clearly lay out fairways

Need to fix 800 divots and grooves on all the greens terrible field maintenance !

Staff was extremely friendly and nice definitely not worth the amount of money spent !!!

This is one of my favorite courses. However Covid-19 and the lovely DiBlasio administration destroyer this course. Crab grass everywhere. Greens destroyed by bugs. In top of that there is a huge backup bc everyone is waiting for carts. We opted to walk even though our reservation included prepaid carts. Thankfully the staff was kind enough to work that out for us. Bc we did so we flew threw out round in under 4 hours. However we were not prepared to walk. I place no blame on the course or their staff. It all lies in the city who will not let them run as efficiently as surrounding counties and who was in charge of taking care of the course while they were not allowed to open. Hopefully you guys will get the course back to its usual condition by early next year.

Had heard the rumors and read the reviews on other golf chat rooms, but had to see for ourselves. Everyone was correct! The course has gone from very good to not playable! They should not even be open. Everything, everything is in horrible condition. The greens never recovered from the winter and have freeze burns on them. On top of that, crabgrass is growing wild everywhere including on the greens. Trying to pick a good line to putt was impossible , crabgrass or freezer burn was in your way. Word is that during pandemic lockdown, no maintenance work was done at all, they allowed the course to die. It shows! Other local area courses had a skeleton crew working, and they did a good job. This was once a beautiful and very popular course, RIP Clearview.

I got there at 10:45 AM for an 11:30 Tee time, the guy in front of me, we waited 10 min for the guy at the desk to show up, then he asked the man in front of me what time was his tee off, the man said 10 :30 AM, so at that point i can see if he has a 10:30 AM and I have a 11:30 AM tee off, and he is still at the desk, i am not getting out till at least 12:30..and i know this is a 5:30 hour round at this course, so I WENT HOME!!!! lost day and 29.00 , will not go back...

the green conditions are not good. Hope it can change it.

Condition of the course was terrible especially the greens , also the tee boxes need a lot of work.

Pace of play was very slow, no staff to keep the players moving at a reasonable pace.For the price although not too bad I expected better , I would recommend this course if you’re looking for somewhere relatively cheap if you don’t mind the condition and have a lot of time on your hands.

In my 30 years of playing golf, this was the worst golf experience in my life. The coarse was not maintained at all. Tee boxes were all weeds, crab grass and no attempts to even mow. The greens had more black bear spots than parking lot. The coarse was also poorly managed. I arrived early just to see my tee time get moved 60 mins past the scheduled time, and the manager was still taking tee times. I was able to finish 7 holes from my scheduled 18 before nightfall. When asked for a rain check, the manager said, sorry we don’t do this.
