Beautiful course
Course was great. Loved the challenge. Great layout.
Not great, but not many choices nearby.
This course is lazily maintained. It’s easy to lose a ball in the short rough or even the fairway. It was cart path only (not informed at check in). There was a high school match going on with parents riding in carts watching. They let a pair start on 10 which clogged the back nine at the turn.
In all fairness, there was one guy working his tail off to run the whole course and clubhouse. Needs some signs showing which way the next tee box is located. Confusing layout. $41 to ride 18 on a Thursday at 3:00 was affordable but you get what you pay for.
Very solid, slow pace
The course was in very solid shape and was quite challenging for my skill level! However, the slow pace of play made for a much longer round than I would prefer. Obviously, could just be a group or two driving the slow down. Will certainly play again.
Nice course
Overall very enjoyable round of golf. Greens seem pretty fast and in good shape. Fairways were really nice overall but some dead spots
Course is in bad shape.
I’ve played Lakeview a handful of times over the last few years. It’s always been decent there. Last week was probably the worst conditions I’ve ever seen a course in. With that being said, we have been in a drought with high heat. Maybe wait for spring to try it again.
Waste of Property
I am really not trying to be rude or anything but it is truly sad what Lakeview has become. The cart guys and the gentleman in the pro shop were great but that’s about it. Course was in absolutely horrible shape, and there were marks all over every single green. It would be different if they didn’t charge above average for a tee time. Also, as we are on #9 green a foursome rolls up to 10 and tries to cut us off and we hadn’t seen these guys once before. The gentleman wearing roman sandals told us to “hurry up” when we asked to skip them. All in all, they charge as if it’s well run and managed when it’s far from that. I took some pictures of the bathroom at the turn the first time I went this year and will never go back inside. I uploaded two pictures of the disgusting bathroom. I wish someone who actually cared would buy this property.

Conditions/pace
Course was heavily damaged from dry summer, pace of play was extremely slow. Took 3 hours to play 9 holes even.

We appreciate you taking the time to review the course and rate us. We are going to pass on your feedback to the team. Thanks for visiting TOP PICK
Lakeview Golf Resort & Spa - Lakeview, and we hope to see you again in the future.
So sad
Ten years ago this course was a beauty. It’s a shame what’s happened here. Hopefully they sell it so someone who actually cares can bring it back. Just atrocious.

Most recent outing
I have been playing this course for about 7 years now. In the past I’ve felt it was decent value and a fun but challenging public course with a beautiful layout. I’ve always felt like management isn’t willing to invest what’s necessary to make it the best public course in the area (which it has the layout and backbone to be). However, in my most recent outing this place was a joke. We’ve had a drought this summer so I expect some burnt spots due to lack of moisture, but this course is easily the worst kept place in the state at the moment. All of the fairways are complete crater fields, hardly any green grass and doesn’t look like it’s been maintained for the entire summer. The greens are in awful shape, tee boxes unkept and just overall in terrible shape. I won’t be back any time soon.

Lakeview review
For the cost we paid ($25) it was well worth the drive down but the course wasn’t very well maintained this year. The greens were nice (minus the 3 that had repair signs on them) but the fairways and tee boxes were lacking grass and the bunkers were as hard as concrete. For $25 and the view of the lake from the par 5, it was a good day but you can tell they haven’t put the money back into the course like they used to. Hoping that changes! PS staff was super friendly.

Lakeview
Very few golfers on the course on 7/24 AM. Hot Deal price is reasonable but regular price seems high. Course is in pretty good shape. It's a good challenge for my skill level so I enjoy playing there.

Thank you for your kind words! We hope to see you again at the course very soon for another 5-star experience. Thanks for choosing TOP PICK
