Did't recognize the payment for the cart
We booked the tee time through your website and the rate included a cart as clearly stated in the confirmation email but when we arrived at the starter he told us that we have to pay for the carts again although your confirmation email clearly stated the opposite. He insisted and told us that the mistake is on GOLF Now and we have to pay for the carts again! Very bad experience overall!
I had to pay for golf cart even though it was supposed to be included as part of the hot deal I paid for. Not good!
Perfect Condition
Ive played MP quite a few times over the past 12 months. I played today, teed off 8:20. It was just perfect all the way around. Tee boxes, fairways, greens all in great to near perfect condition for MP. The staff have really done a fantastic job over the winter to keep this course in great condition.
Really slow pace of play, really puts a damper on the round.
Misunderstanding
there was a misunderstanding about the inclusion of a golf cart. when I booked the tee time via GolfNow a cart was included, but the course claims that they have no such agreement with GolfNow concerning a cart. This. was an embarrassment to me due to my inviting friends with the idea a golf cart was included.
The course played tough due to windy condition, so it threw our distance off, either the wind was with use causing the balls to travel further, or it was against us stopping the ball short of normal distance
Best course for the money in NYC
Great layout and greens in good shape save one - they are managing through Covid issues fairly well. Trump is 4x as expensive so of course it is nicer and better conditioned but this is a very well run course in light of heavy rounds of play.
As an added bonus have always met really diverse and fun folks (I usually play as a single as it’s a pretty far drive) when I get paired up. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.
Best NYC Course
Marine park continues to be the best overall NYC course. The course was busy but didn’t wait on a single tee box on a Saturday morning. Driving range (irons only) makes warming up easier. Course conditions weren’t perfect (greens slower and a bit choppy) but it was more than playable. Courses defense comes from strong winds and sloped greens which makes it tough if you are above the hole. Very forgiving off the tee and hard to lose a ball.
Excellent Value, solid course
Course in good shape, wide open so play keeps moving. There's enough land and mix of holes that you get to play many kinds of shots. I didn't try any but the food and beverage seemed good and reasonably priced. Friendly starter and organized staff. By far the best in nyc.
Great course
Greens are already in good shape. Early in season, but, it will be great once conditions improve.
