Course is in Excellent condition!
This course in excellent condition from the tee boxes, fairways and of course the greens( Which were still fast..lol). Even on this day when it was wet misting rain condition day, the course maintenance crews were out there taking care of the GC. Pace of play on this day was an incredible 4:15..... Have my next tee time booked already.
Golf Course Excellent Shape but Extremely slow play
Very tough conditions to play in with 20+ mph winds, made the course seem a lot longer. Greens were in great shape but are always tough, both fast & lots of undulation. Pin placements were also difficult. The course was in great shape but the pace of play was terrible. We waited at every single hole & sometimes there were two four-somes on the tee when we arrived. The round took 5 hours.
Pace of play is way to slow!! Don't expect to play in less than 4 1/2 hours
Best NYC Course
Marine Park has done a great job keeping up their course this summer. While many of the other NYC golf courses have deteriorated due to Covid cutbacks, Marine park has somehow improved the quality of their course. Pace of play has been great this year and the conditions are the best in the city. It's not a private course, so keep your expectation in check, but I have no complaints.
It's one of the few courses with a driving range to warm up (irons only, but you'll have plenty of long drives out on the course). I can't wait until they get the chipping and putting areas open again when the Covid restrictions are lifted. There are also some upgrades going on out on the course, and they're investing in the future of the course, which is nice to see.
Be prepared to book weekend tee times a week in advance; this place books up quick and for good reason.
Great condition
The weather was perfect and the condition was great. Staffs were friendly and welcoming.

A Gem
Marine park does not disappoints. Course is amazing. Great layout. Green are a bit fast but in great condition. Great day out today. Fairways are great as well. All in all great course.
