Pine Ridge Golf Club
About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

Horrible
Place looks like it’s ready to close down the greens are in terrible shape they got sprinklers that only water the bunkers and not the grass the entire time place is a joke.
In horrible condition.
The fairways and greens had fungus problems and bare spots. The bunkers have little sand, but lots of rocks. I had to play much of the course as Ground Under Repair. There are very few distance markers, and some of those that are there are not accurate. The carts do not have GPS.
Issues
Looks like they have a fungus issue on some greens. Definitely watering issues also. I’ve haven’t seen that much hard pan in 30 years of playing golf. The maintenance up keep is definitely not happening. Broken fences, weeds everywhere.
DO NOT PLAY HERE!
THIS COURSE IS IN TERRIBLE SHAPE. FROM THE GREENS, TEE BOXES, FAIRWAYS AND TRAPS. THIS COURSE IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I SHOULD OF KNOWN BECAUSE THEY WERE THE ONLY PLACE THAT OPENINGS DAY OF ON A SUNDAY.
DO NOT PLAY HERE

Very nice staff, but what a DOG TRACK!
This place is a DOG TRACK! From tee boxes to greens. Guy I was playing with said they have ‘Memberships’. I’d be embarrassed to say I was a Member. The only sprinklers I saw on the whole day were on the driving range. For over an hour straight! Never playing here again. Like I said, very nice staff tho.
Not great
Greens are mud. If you can get a hot deal and are able to walk it it’s a good deal. I wouldn’t pay over $40 to play here. Only thing good is during the week it’s empty so you can play by yourself 9/10 times
Bad conditions
The course was in such rough shape. The fairways were beat up and sandy. The greens were nice and big but could only play on half of them because the other half were non existent or ripped to shreds. Easily 1 of the worse courses I have ever played.
Disappointed
The golf course looks like it has so much potential, but it hasn’t been taken care of very well. Some of the greens have obvious dead spots and some of the fairways are very patchy. The starter even made a comment about the poor conditions. He said sarcastically, “You guys are in for a treat.” I think a little TLC could make a huge difference. With all that said, I wouldn’t mind it if I wasn’t paying $75.00.
Play elsewhere!
$70 green fees and $20 per person for the cart. At $90, one would expect a nice course, perhaps even a beautiful course... Well not here. Conditions are poor. The whole course is in need of a makeover. Greens had so make bad burn spots? dirt?
For the money, many other better places to play nearby.
A shame
I only played here this year because I got a rate under $30 on golf now. I wouldn’t pay more than that for this course.
This course has a good layout & was wonderful prior to 2020. However, in the last 5 years there has been a precipitous decline in the condition of the course.
Little to no routine maintenance is done on a regular basis. For example a significant patch on the 10th green has been there for over 3 years. In that time there has been no evidence of an attempt to repair. Frequently, garbage cans are overflowing for days at a time.
Management openly complains about lack of funding from ownership. If the owners don’t want to spend money on this course why would a golfer.
Don’t bother
The Course is in bad shape. Starter had no control of the place. He tried to put 3 groups of his buddies ahead of everyone causing a log jamb. What a mess.
Golf review
Very hot. Staff courteous. Still enjoyed course even though hot.
Greens in terrible condition
I used to love this course but when you charge 90 plus dollars for a round and there’s giant spots of dead grass and dirt spots on the greens it’s hard to be okay with the price. Some of the greens are in good condition and some are just down right terrible. I’m not sure how anyone is okay with playing there with the shape it’s in. I will no longer play here as the course has negative value.
For that price they are crazy
Was fine for 50 bucks but 93 with a cart is mind boggling, course condition was bad greens bad rough terrible unless you like hard dirt
