Pine Ridge Golf Club
About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

Fire the superintendent
Besides large aeration holes, greens had patches all over the place. Fairways had dirt hard pan everywhere. This course superintendent or owners need to be out of the game. Pitiful to call this a golf course. Wouldn’t let a 5 yr old play here. Every year it gets worse and worse
Disappointing
Lots of bare spots in fairways. Aerated greens with no top dressing. Bare areas around greens. Bare ground where rough should be. Course needs grass seed, fertilizer and water. Too bad--used to be a nice place to play. Don't bother with this course.
Great course management.
People who play here are ignorant and rude with no golf etiquette.
Will not come back.
Don’t waste your time.
I am not sure if the landscaping crew on this golf course know what grass seed is. It would be nice to play on grass as opposed to hard pan for 18 holes. The greens were chewed up and very slow. Such a shame because the layout is challenging.
First time here in 3 years.
Challenging course. It would benefit from rangers and better player management to put singles with other groups of two and three golfers to speed play.
The Greens being aerated with big punched holes have not yet healed and do adversely affect putting.
Overall condition is good but will be much better when the grass grows in and the Greens heal from the aeration.
Bad shape
I have played Pine Ridge many times in the past and was disappointed in how bad a shape the course was in. To add to that the greens were recently airated and were in extremely poor condition. Probably not going back again. Its unfortunate because it used to be one of my favorite courses.
Ok
Greens are aerated, course is ok for the beginning of the season. I will go back in a month or so.
Leaves a lot to be desired
Pine Ridge Golf Club is a excellent laid out golf course but but is in horrible condition. The greens are chewed up and I can count the blades of grass on on one hand in the fairway. The course needs some love! Plant some grass seed and take care of the greens.
Good round...but slow
The course conditions were better than I expected based on other reviews. The greens were rolling fast and aside from 2-3 holes had very few pitch marks. The layout is great, lots of doglegs that require long irons and woods instead of driver for the bombers. Unfortunately, slow play bogged us down and we had to confront the group behind us more than once since they tee’d off a few times while we were waiting on the group ahead of us. Ii’ll definitely come back though as I do enjoy the course.
Don’t play bathrooms closed even in nice weather ,fairways with a thousand divots, big dirt holes in the fairways. . Becoming a dirt course and management don’t care . Go somewhere else . No starters with people cutting in front of us who keep going around and around
Please keep the bath room opened till all of the golfers finished their games
The bath room had been locked up when we finished the game at about 18:30. It is extremely inconvenient for female golfers.
