About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

Great Course for Central Suffolk County
Centrally located and a fair price for a well-maintained course...
Nice corse layout condition ok. Sprinklers annoying.
I like this course because it has a great layout. However they aren’t taking care is it properly. Due to this it feel like your over paying to play here.
The greens keepers will be watering the green while you are putting on it. Very annoying.
Sprinklers were watering 4 holes while we played the course and you just had to play threw it. Super annoying.
The course is not in bad as shape as people make it sound but it’s definitely a slight issue.
Either change the price and make it cheeper or fix the whole corse and don’t be fixing it when people are trying to play.
Under Rated!
This course was well above what I expected. Very good conditions, my only complaint would be the conditions of the sand traps. No rakes available and they haven’t been touched by groundskeepers. Basically nothing but footprints and divots. It was a very hot day but the cart girl made frequent visits with cold drinks. There are a lot of meme bees that play here so the pace was perfect. I walked, cost $50, which is a little high but based on the course, I feel the rates are fair.

I have played my best and my worst golf on this course. Very narrow and you have to know your distances to navigate the doglegs.
Potential but no
Buy some dam grass seed . There’s holes in the greens that are so bad hey just fill sand with it . I think the course could be good with golf becoming popular again this is the chance . This should be your last option in the area . Bring a donation of grass seed

Great course with tight fairways and several dog legs.
This course is in crap shape
This course was always a hard pan piece of garbage but now it’s a dump, the fairways and greens are in total crap shape, I feel like they should of paid us when we were done. The ranger had the audacity to tell us to keep the carts off the fairways lol I said are you kidding me? The greens have a disease where they actually had patches the size of door mats all sand, the fairways had divots and no grass every 8 inches. Fire the grounds keeper guys , what a joke of a course
Course condition OK but not great
The course conditions are inconsistent - some holes are in decent shape with fairways and greens in decent condition. Other holes border on awful with fairways that have bare spots and crabgrass and greens that are bumpy and sandy. I would say about 1/3 of the holes fall into the not so good category and 1/3 of the holes are OK with the remaining holes in good condition.( these are usually the par 3’s) . Pace of play was good (a weekday) and the starter and manager are.friendly and professional . A good value for the price if your aren’t too choosy about course conditions.
