About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

First round of the year
First time playing this course this year and was surprised the see the greens were in good condition considering the amount of play and abuse they get from people not fixing their ball marks. Regardless of the condition this place probably has the best layout out of any of the public tracks I’ve played.
Didn’t get to play
I didn’t get to play. Had to cancel but nobody answered the phone at the course. They have a 24 hour cancelation policy which I understood but when no employee answers the phone it’s kind of hard to cancel. Now I’m out money for multiple tee times.
It was closed!!
You let me book a tee time for a course that was closed. There was snow all over the fairways. The pro shop was closed. Wasted the day! Not happy.
Greenskeeper should be fired
The pin placements on this course were absolutely ridiculous, I don't know if you can see in the pictures, but every single pin placement on all 18 holes was within 2-4 feet of the edge of the green which is just not fair to the players who pay 30-60 dollars to play the course. Also, on some holes there was more than one hole cut out which just shows how lazy the staff is here. This course could be free and I still would not come here. I will never return to this golf course ever again.
Poorly managed and always in poor condition
Overpriced for what you get. You can pay bethpage black for much less. Staff unfriendly. Tee boxes chewed up. There are a multitude of other options on Long Island you can choose. Stay away
Great track, needs more attention
The course has a great layout, but is not well-maintained. Leaves all over, worn out areas across the course, cart paths that have areas filled with water, etc. It seems to be like this quite often, as I have played throughout the year here at different times. With more attention and care this course could be fantastic and people would be willing to pay a little more for the higher quality. All this being said, the greens were very good for the most part and running well. I enjoy playing here and will return, but I just wish more care would be given to this course.
Great layout needs some TLC
This could be a top class golf course, layout is fantastic and from the back tees is a great test. Greens need to be looked after better, seemed to be a lot of pitch marks not repaired they also ran slow as there was a lot of dew. Otherwise very good
