Pine Ridge Golf Club

OK course. On the short side. Only course and pro shop open . Not bad shape for this time of year. Play was a little too slow.

Listen I get it, it’s March and no golf course is in great shape, But this place is in bad shape. I’m also not a big fan of the layout lots of substantial dog legs, a real strange layout. The staff especially Ed the starter was great but on a Sunday morning at noon they were already for groups backed up. Again it’s March,And we’re playing golf on Long Island so I can’t complain that much but there are so many better options in and around the area.

Had a great day, met a nice twosome could have played better. Greens were good, considering the early season. Will play here again

You have to play Pine Ridge smarter which makes it fun.

Really never write reviews but this place really had forced me too.From checking in it started with the guy behind the desk that was unbelievably rude and so unhappy!!!! Either he hates his job,or had a fight with his wife(girlfriend) or just an unhappy human being. Then came the course .me and my son play every week golf and this place should be shut down or big time discount on how bad there greens are . 75% of them were not playable . Shame used to be good years ago , but seems to me they are having a hard time

Generally I enjoy playing this course, back tees, it can be a bit challenging on quite a few holes. Noticeable deterioration of conditions this past year. Aerated greens are taking well over a month to recover. Of course, this makes it impossible to score and or save par, though they still have a bit of pace to them, I like Fast greens .

Tee boxes and Fairways again have deteriorated over the course of the season. Pace of play of course is hit or miss depending on what's going on in front of you. Skipping a hole or two is par for the course of late..

This is a great track that is enjoyable to play. Hopefully they get their act together going into next season. I will not be visiting again this season

The starter made us wait for 49 minutes though there’s nobody teeing off. In the first tee.

The front 9 was closed and we were not informed prior to arriving, so we had to play the back 9 twice. Due to this the pace of play was extremely slow. I have played this course and have enjoyed it, but should have been informed of this when we booked on Golf Now.

Every time I play this course I get stuck behind either a couple of old guys or a bunch of Koreans.

Either way, these people have a serious lack of etiquette. I’m there riding their backs and they won’t let me play through. It doesn’t matter how nicely you ask...they flat out refuse to let you in front of them. I have quit after 12, 13, 14 holes because I was getting frustrated. I can’t play golf when I’m angry. I go to the golf course to relax; not get aggravated by these clowns.

Great course although golfers are very poor at fixing ball marks on the greens. First cut was very thick. Fast greens.

Terrible course conditions. Greens with hundreds of ball marks. Tees are all dirt . Fairways with divots everywhere. No one seems to care that the holes are roped off in some areas to protect the fairway. Saw people driving over the ropes everywhere. Hopefully they improve things by next spring but for now I’m staying away.

Clueless hackers ruin the experience with slow play and lack of course etiquette. 2.5 hours to play 8 holes is a miserable public golf experience. Management doesn't care and just takes your $$. Unless you get lucky and have a group that moves in front of you I would not recommend playing here. It's a shame because it's a good track in decent shape. cart girl was a babe too. Ohwell

1) no range balls after paying, took 35 minutes for them to refill machine. Needless to say, didn’t have time before tee off.

2) Pace of play was by far the worst I have ever had to deal with. No ranger to tell foursome ahead that you can’t spend 15 minutes looking for your ball and then drive back to tee box only to hit another one out of bounds

Tee boxes have been aerated and are basically sand

Management was basically no help.

Three foursomes waiting on same whole , but were told that there was nothing they can do... they were a bunch of nice guys... what about the rest of us?

Don’t know what the circumstances are with this course so I won’t blame anyone. Tee boxes are basically dirt. Fairways are ok. Greens are average with a thousand ball marks that no one seems to repair. Divots not being replaced. I’d stay away until next spring and hope they get the course back in shape. Paid 35$ off of golf now not worth it because of the pace of play. Interesting course so I hope they get it right

It was a challenging round (more so in the back 9) but fun overall. Pro shop attendant and bartender were both extremely nice people. The fairways and some of the greens could use a little more upkeep but it is getting late in the season (I went mid August) so maybe that’s why? Overall it was fun, some of the holes are pretty tight so you have to shoot straight, and also a few of the holes have some pretty crazy bends from the fairway to get to the green, but those challenges made it fun.

Condition is poor and nobody driving around with drinks. Half way house closed!

The greens were damaged and had multiple pitch marks that were not repaired. There was standing water on a tee box puddles in the middle of a fairway on a dry day indicating broken sprinklers. The cart paths are in poor condition.
