Pine Ridge Golf Club
About
Pine Ridge Golf Club was carved from pine forests in central Long Island. Located in Coram, the course's player-friendly layout is a popular choice for all skill levels. The narrow, tree-lined fairways demand accuracy and the greens are fast and can be hard to read but it's not an overly punishing golf course for high handicappers. The risk-reward opportunities will test your course management and strategic thinking skills. If played smartly, you could find yourself with a birdie, particularly on the two driveable par 4s on the front nine. Several bunkers lurk throughout and water comes into play occasionally as well. You'll also face several sharp doglegs, both left and right. In addition to the golf course, Pine Ridge also offers a practice facility that includes a driving range, putting green, and a large grass teeing area.

Fix your divots!
Just annoying to see some many in repaired divots on the greens. Needs help by golfers to make the course more enjoyable.
Course with great potential
This is a fun course to play, opportunities to score, short par 4s, some long par 4s on the back and gives you many risk/reward opportunities. Overall for the money it's a great layout, only downside is pace of play, and the conditioning. I think it's a reflection of the affordable price, but people don't seem to treat the course with that much respect and don't take care of ball marks and divots which wears on the course. Way more interesting than nearby willow creek and a lot more affordable. A little more course maintenance and this would easily be one of the best public courses on the eastern half of long island.
Thank you so much for your review. We value your feedback, and hope to see you back soon. Have a great day!
Should have left from the start
Stunned by the pro golf guy that meets us at the door as we are walking in as he walks in 1st then does not even hold the door open for us as real humans would do especially he’s the worker there .what a miserable man unhappy man I’ve ever met golf pro shop .Then we go play on a golf course that every green is ruined sand traps that aren’t taken care of , then we get to the 6 th hole we’re the back up starts , in talking 15/20 minutes wait on each hole , no one around to say to the people in front to move a little faster . We couldn’t even finish playing by dark and we started at 3 at this place . More then 5 hours to play and not finish really sucks . Play 30 times a year and just one other time this happened and of course there no longer a golf club . Management is for sure to blame

Fairways and greens in disrepair. Challenging, especially back nine. Interesting layout.
Good value with Golf Now.

Ranger needed
Course was in good shape. A few challenging holes. Greens were fast but a couple add they are spots. But the worst part Of the round was a foursome in front of us that seem to be playing for the U.S. Open. We never saw a Ranger but the course should have one to move these people along. We estimated that it cost us an hour. It should’ve been a four hour round but it turned into five
Thanks for your review. We appreciate your feedback about pace of play. It is our goal to always have ranger on the course when we are busy. We apologize that you didn't see one in this instance. Pace of play is important to us and we are working hard to keep it top of mind to all of our guests and golfers.
We appreciate your feedback and want to thank you for your review! Come back and visit us again soon.
Terrible pace of play
With only 2 groups teeing off ahead of us our round took 5 hours waited on every hole for group in front of us
Thank you for your feedback. We take your opinion seriously, and are working everyday to improve the pace of play. Our goal is to have a ranger our during our busy times to help move things along. We apologize that you did not see one in this instance. We hope to see you back again soon.
Great course
Good pace of play, greens & fairways were fine. What more can you ask for.
Thank you so much for your review. We value your feedback, and hope to see you back soon.
Great layout, but needs work
Course has a great layout and challenging holes. Also the greens are super-fast and in great condition, as are the tee boxes and fairways. But once you go off the greens and fairways the ground conditions are variable and annoying: you could be 10 yards off the green and have to deal with sandy earth impossible to chip off of. Likewise, the rough can be thick or thin, with patchy areas. If the staff could work on filling these areas, it would be superb. Overall, it's a good course to play.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback and post a 4 star review. We are glad you enjoyed your time with us and hope to see you back again soon.

Nice round
3rd time playing this course this year and the conditions are getting better and better. Some of the sand traps need work but it looks like management is doing a good job with renovations of some of the holes. Was a little bit of a long round (4.5 hours) for this course but it is the pga week and bethpage is shut down so that might be the reason it was so crowded.
Thank you so much for your review, Seth. Thanks for coming out and playing. We value your feedback, and hope to see you back soon.
Really?
They ran out of working golf carts....do I need to say more? Pace of play was a joke and course was in very rough shape. Hopefully in season they figure things out
Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and apologize your experience was anything less than stellar. We would like to continue this conversation with you. Please feel free to reach out to us at info@pineridgegc.com.
One of my favorite
Great course, not to long but the lay out is tricky. Absolutey no one else on the course today which was nice.
Thanks for your review. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again soon!
Very Disappointed
When we got there the range machine did not work, they had no golf carts so we had to wait for a group to come in to get a cart and then they had no gas for it because the pump was locked up. Fortunately we were able to get through the round on the 1/4 tank of fuel that was in it.
We passed about 5 abandoned broken down golf carts on our journey and the guys we played with had to quit cause they got a flat tire. The started claimed they had new carts on order.
As far as the course, it was full of goose droppings especially on the greens and there were dozens of bare spots on the fairways and rough. The bunkers in some places were not distinguishable as they had weeds growing in them and some of the work they started last spring is still not completed.
Also, all 18 cups were cut in within 30 inches of the collar... Whats with that?
All in all a very disappointing way to start the year.
I have played quite a few nearby courses this winter and this was by far the worst conditioned one.
Terrible course
Not maintained
They should pay you 55 dollars to play this course
