Rough start
Should have taken some photos. Very bad conditions. Aerated Greens, understandable for this time of year. However some greens are very blotchy. Tee boxes have basically no grass and are uneven. Seems like nothing was done over the winter for any upkeep. Needs much work.
Aerate
Greens were being aerated. The course was soaked from the sprinklers. The tee boxes were mostly dirt. Not a good time to play Kissena. Staff are always friendly.
Air raiding greens
Green and tee boxes are in horrible condition. Had to wait on a few holes for the sprinklers to stop. Some fairways were flooded with water from sprinklers. It is early in the season. Give it some time.
New Season
Unfortunately because it’s the start of a new season, the course was being aerated. Other that that I’d definitely recommend this course to a friend.
Can't beat the value!
Walked on at 12PM for less than $30. Course was in decent shape, but greens had just been aerated so putting was challenging. Getting soaked by the sprinklers while playing was also a regular occurrence. But overall, a great day. Should have been water available on the course in 85 degree heat.
Nice course
Course layout was not well, almost got hit by other players teeing off and I was on another tee box. Course conditions were fair, tee boxes need work. Overall could be a little cheaper to play, but other than that it was fair.
