Kissena Park Golf Course

Did not play. The account sent me a review without me even checking into the course. No reservation confirmation received. I played Pelham Split Rock as you can see on my same day reservation. Please credit my account for the non playing of Kissena today

Great short course. Great to walk with a push cart. This course has a lot of ELEVATION shots so really good course to practice learning how to read certain elevations. Rangefinders with slope reading are amazing here. Practice those slope shots.

Check in to see if they've aerated the green recently though. Punched greens are the wrost.

Shorter course, great pace of play...early morning. Nice course to work on 2nd/approach shots, very good fairways. Greens a little bumpy, ppl not repairing divots.

Enjoy my rounds at Kissena. Longer than an executive course but shorter than most NYC public courses. Friendly staff with fast pace of play when teeing off late morning with no one in front. Challenging greens and hilly layout makes for a fun day out on the course.

This is a short course with 8 par 3 and ten par 4, totalling a par 64. The elevation changes add to the difficulty with tees and greens also sloping fairways . The 11th hole is the highest point in Qns so very windy days are more challenging. The summer months average 4hr to 5.5hrs, very popular , off season 2.5hrs to 4hr, played here for years.

I played when greens were aerated, no joy putting, but the course was wide open allowing for practice pitch/chip shots, yeah! and still finished in 3.5hr

Great course with interesting holes and often challenging holes. Short course, but plenty of opportunities to hit the driver. I love this course. Easy to get to on public transport too. Very friendly staff. Will come back often

The pace of play was good but the greens were aerated and in bad shape. Shouldnt be full price right now

This course should not have any good reviews….maybe when nobody is on the course it’s fine because the pace of play here is absolutely terrible. Scheduled 18 holes and was paired with 3 other players. One quit after 2 holes and the others only played 6…6 holes took almost 2 and a half hours….tee boxes are so chewed up and with pace of place this place was nauseating

Staff members are so kind. It's not an easy course but fun.

Pace of play horrible on weekends. No one to tell you when to go up. Starter at the game just checks you in. Backed up like crazy. If you want to kill your day play at kissena.

The pace was incredibly slow. Tee time was 2:27 didn't tee off until 2:45. Finished 9 holes by 5:30 so there was no time to finish the last 9 holes before sundown. The cart girl was only in sight once and did not come by. There was no staff to keep up with the pace of play either. Considering i have played there frequently i would never suggest playing past 1 pm.
