Good course for a quick round In queens
Greens are nice but rough is long and they left the trim on top especially under the tree line hard to even finding balls ( prob due to being closed for months), I’m sure it will improved once it get more plays and all. Over all the course is good condition for local round without travel too far and ppl are friendly enough to have a good time.
Frustrating
Very backed up. There is no ranger or starter to check or push pace of play. There were also a lot of beginners learning here, so makes sense
Not worth the fee
It is what it is, but it most certainly is not worth a The cost. Course was in pretty awful shape, divots and rocks everywhere. That being said, staff was very friendly and they kept things moving along. I would absolutely play this course for $40 + cart, but I can’t justify Paying $60+ given the condition it was in
Yard markers
How can you charge 65 bucks a round with no yard markers, how can you play like that
Not worth it
It’s a small course, but fun for a quick round, usually. Before the pandemic shutdown, you knew what to expect from this course. Now it’s in far worse condition, and the same old antics by the staff. I had a set tee time, yet they still let two singles out just minutes before my time. I had to skip the first two holes so that I could play thru. There’s never a proper starter at this course but for the money you expect a little inconvenience. It went from 37 with a cart to 53. You pay more money for a poorly maintained small course, then to play Bethpage. Horrible starter management, more grass clippings left on fairways and roughs than I’ve seen anywhere, broken pathways. Just overall terribly unfortunate, and the extra money is a slap in the face. Maybe I’ll try again next year
Kissena is my go to
Usually in a lot better shape but understandable because we’re Just now coming out of 3/4 months of quarantine. The only thing that’s deplorable are the bunkers they have 3-4 foot weeds growing out of them. the tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in amazing shape best I’ve seen in years! Teed off at 3:15 and finished at 6 fastest round I’ve had there to date definitely gonna be back soon!
Well kepted Greens!
Greens are Excellent and Fairways are Nice Kepted!!!
Small but mighty
Tough little course. Pace of play was good. And it was packed. Fairways are set close together. Also have a lot of roll off. To one side or the other. That's what makes it a tough course. As well as the greens. But the conditions were decent. All in all. Not bad. Had a great 4 some. That always helps
The course is ok.
The round was cheap, it was 30 bucks a man which is what lead me here for a preseason round. The course was in decent condition for the beginning of March. I probably wouldn't come back unless I got a great deal bc the course design itself. At only 4511 yards from the tips it's way to short for my liking. Additionally there are no par 5s do to the yardage. There are however 8 par 3s so it was more like a pitch and put.
Cozy but not easy course
I’m regular golfer this course over 30 years
This is like my home club
Every staffs kindly serve
Awesome nice golf course
