Auchterarder Golf Club

To any golfer who had not yet played this course I would say this is an absolute must! Every aspect of this course is nothing short of fabulous ! The condition, the layout, the spectacular views. I imagine this is how golf gets played in Heaven !!!

Excellent day out at Auchterarder. PlYed 4 ball and we all regarded the whole experience in high esteem. Friendly staff, good conditions and varied hole layout. We will certainly be going back . Absolute steal at £20.

course was in perfect condition, fairways immaculate, greens first class (if you can putt) ! cannot rate this course highly enough ! everyone we spoke with were really friendly.

Got a great price from GolfNow and had a great day at Auchterarder. There was a ladies medal being played which slowed the pace a little bit but this wasn't a problem. The greens had been sanded making them a bit slower than expected but this didn't spoil what was a great day. Would highly recomend playing a game at Auchterarder.

As I remember it, Auchterarder is a well presented, and immaculate golf course. Stands apart from its neighbour as a friendly club I was welcomed warmly by the Pro and members. The conditions were firm and challenging, accuracy required from the tee, the greens were glassy and their subtle undulations presented quite a challenge. It’s an intimate traditional course with mature trees, grass and brilliant views. Perfect tight lies on every fairway the rough will punish as it should do. It’s so refreshing to not need the driver so much or at all, ball position on the fairway is more important than length to find some cheeky pin positions on fast greens. Take your best short game! I will return soon. A wee gem of a stretch!

Avoid Gleneagles and play here instead.

Love this course. Played today and the course was immaculate which is impressive for late October. Highly recommended. Good layout with a variety of different holes. Great value for a great course. Play it.

Three winter greens and mats butbit was still a great day. The green overdressed and probably could have expected better course conditions at this time of year. All that said, we paid £12 to play, what is a very very nice course. Staff were great, thanks for a great day. Rdc

Played the course in a steady rain, which didn't really change our enjoyment. Introduction to both the course and facilities was poor. The course doesn't have sprinklers between tee and green so the course was pretty poor in places, the greens were also suffering when compared with similar courses at this time of year. Hopefully only due to the harsh dry summer. and it can recover into next season. The course is quite short but does have a few really good holes, I particularly liked the tree lined area around 8-12.

Enjoyed this course despite problems with diseased greens. Nice parkland course with lots of variety.

First time at The beautiful setting in Auchterarder. Great layout and well presented. Obviously the course has struggled over the summer and lack of water has caused issues on tees and greens. Shame as I was looking forward to the experience. Golfers were friendly and let me play through which was good. Pro shop, bar staff and catering staff all welcoming. Great clubhouse. Look forward to playing when the course recovers.

Excellent day out playing at Auchterarder Golf Club!

Enjoyed an excellent bacon roll and coffee before setting out.

Greens are having problems I hear but that did not affect our general enjoyment.

One small point was no towel available for visitors for an after game shower.

Otherwise a great day out in the Perthshire hills. Love the place.

On arrival we received a very warm welcome from the professional and the staff in the clubhouse.

We then went and played the course which was in excellent condition with the greens playing quite quick due to the very warm weather.Great layout and a great test of golf.Will definitely be back.
