Blackhawk Golf Course in Janesville is a nine-hole course that winds along Spring Brook Creek. Mature trees dot the rolling terrain, framing the holes and coming into play beside the fairways. The creek also presents a few hazards but it is not overly threatening. The course has a classic layout that is gentle enough for beginners but still offers enough challenges to make it an enjoyable round for casual golfers though the peaceful scenery makes the course attractive no matter what skill level. It is also great for a quick round when you have a spare moment and its versatility also makes it ideal for tournaments and events. Opened in 1964, the golf course has garnered a following amongst locals. The fun and playable course has become one of the most popular nine-hole golf courses in Wisconsin.

Nice 9 Holes

Simple layout. Pretty well maintained. Nice to get in and out for a short round. Fresh water in the ball washer...not missing, empty, or rotten. Greens were nice and played well. Some tricky cup positions. Had a good day.

Nice 9

Even though I grew up in Janesville, this was my first time playing the course. The course was in good shape for being early in the season.

Only draw back was there was a women's league so the pace was a little backed up for us as a twosome.

Will definitely play here again

Blackhawk golf course was my first real golf around. It is definitely a different change of pace than driving ranges. Blackhawk is a good golf course to start off with with long fairways and some simple greens. I will definitely be back to conquer the layout.
