Blackhawk Golf Course in Janesville is a nine-hole course that winds along Spring Brook Creek. Mature trees dot the rolling terrain, framing the holes and coming into play beside the fairways. The creek also presents a few hazards but it is not overly threatening. The course has a classic layout that is gentle enough for beginners but still offers enough challenges to make it an enjoyable round for casual golfers though the peaceful scenery makes the course attractive no matter what skill level. It is also great for a quick round when you have a spare moment and its versatility also makes it ideal for tournaments and events. Opened in 1964, the golf course has garnered a following amongst locals. The fun and playable course has become one of the most popular nine-hole golf courses in Wisconsin.

Their price has more than doubled in less than a week’s time!!

Just two weeks ago, they were offering Hot Deals for $15. Now their “deal” is $40. Not sure what is going on with this. Riverside is an 18 hole course, and their deal is the exact same as Blackhawk, a 9 hole course. Doesn’t make any sense.

I like this course, but I won’t be playing it any more unless better deals are offered. I just can’t afford it. These rates are simply not in line with what a 9 hole course typically charges.

Great course friendly atmosphere all around as well

Very enjoyable course with challenging pin placements to challenge your puts, and an awesome way to spend any day. And tee boxes and greens are usually always in great shape!

This course is a good value for a quick round of golf. It's easy walking, not too many hills. I've been playing this course for years and it seems to be in better shape than it has been before KemperSports took over running it.

Golf Now Review (not course)

I love the course I had intended to play, but my review is for Golf Now. There is no refund policy (unless you pay for it in advance). The point of Golf Now is to get a cheaper rate, so paying more to secure a what if seems silly. Well, I was t-boned one block from my home on my way to the course and my car was totaled. I did call and cancel my tee time with the course, but I won't get a reimbursement from Golf Now.
