Great wee course.

As a beginner this course is perfect for me. It is in a really good condition with some beautiful scenery. A few really challenging holes that test club selection and distance control. There's a couple of holes that require a decent level of fitness, but the views are worth it. Staff and members were all friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Lovely but hilly.

Went round as a single ball at 7am. The course is an 18tee 9 hole course. Due to my tee time I was the only person on the course and with "normal" sized greens in not sure how confusing it would be if you had multiple rounds using the same green together.

The course itself is lovely with holes named after specific things and each hole guide gives an explanation about why. My favourite being Battlebridge with the grave of a warrior once found there. First couple of holes are "ground level" but then you start trekking up and down hill to tees and greens but we'll worth it.

Overall a lovely course. If you have mobility issues I'd probably not for you, although there is a 6 hole option which I think takes in the lower lying holes.
