Not great for golfing as a single
I like this course if you’re playing a foursome. However, I reserved a tee time as a single on a quiet Wednesday morning in late October. I was then booked with another who was walking. I had a cart. The course was not very busy at all and now having a cart was pointless. Having to wait for a walking golfer after every stroke didn’t last long. I made it half way through the first hole and turned around and left. The day was ruined from what my expectations were. I know it’s common to combine people but given the time of year and how few other golfers were there, it was unnecessary and really irritated me.
Nice
A nice 9 hole course, only issue that I had was that there was alot of duck poop on the first green. The rest of the greens were great.
Starter Has to Go!
The starter (elderly gentleman) could not communicate or reason with us when he was checking us in on Saturday afternoon (10/3/26). He is beyond incompetent, and it's almost elderly cruelty to have this guy out there trying to get golfers started. He needs to go, and they need to make it easier to get groups going off the tee box. Horrible experience!
Great local course
This is a great local course. Well taken care of. Super friendly staff and a great place to spend a morning on a quick 9 holes.
Great course for the money
Fountain Hills is a great, full size, 9 hole course. I like it better than most other 9 holes around the area because you will actually use your driver here.
