We have played Stonebridge many years. But, on August 10, to make two tee times was a problem. The young lady refuse to except my request for two tee times over the phone. I wrote a letter, without any response from Stonebridge. But, the biggest problem was you charge my credit card and I don't get the benefit till the following week. What we have done in the pass for many years when its our day to play we pay you. Never a problem. Because of the way you handle your payment system. We will not play there in the future.

The course condition has gotten considerably worse year over year. Tee boxes are 95% dirt on most holes and the pin positions routinely are left for a number of days resulting in a ton of spike/foot marks around the cup.
Staff is wonderful, bar has cold beers and good dogs at the turn. Hope the grounds conditions return to the way they once were and this place will be back to a 4 star venue.

We had a great round
Took three friends out for the day. They never played Stonebridge before. They were shocked that I obtained a 12 pm tee time late in the week. Play was fine, we did not wait at any holes due to slow play.

Ground conditions not good
We’ve played this course before and had a much better experience. The tee boxes, especially the front tees were in terrible condition, with several being being about 75% dirt. There was a lot of flooding due to broken sprinkler heads.l, which was unpleasant. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, but the condition of the grounds was disappointing.

Great course
Challenging but fair for shot makers. Multi level greens add to challenge. Course well kept with bunkers always playable! 👍

Bad shape
Course was not in good shape, especially tee boxes

Disaster!!!
Course has really gone down hill. Terrible management. Played on a day it rained. Played not even 2 holes until getting rained out and management wouldn’t refund me even when I mentioned pools of water on the green and that the course was unplayable. They rather take your money and ruin the course than to do the right thing and maintain the course and just issue a rain check. If this is how management is run now I surely won’t play this run down course.

Absolutely horrible. Was stuck behind a group of 5. Ranger came over to our foursome at the 7th hole saying “slow round today” we went in to tell him how there’s a 5 in front of us and only a twosome infront of them. Ranger goes on to say he’ll handle it. He handled nothing and they continued to play as a 5some. 16th home at 5 and a half hours we finally left and didn’t even finish the round.
Everyone that works there knows who’s laying there and if you aren’t part of their clique they do not care. Absolute waste of money and waste of a round. Trash.

Course in Disrepair
I usually play this course about twice a month. I’ve notice that course conditions have slowly deteriorated, but I have noticed that they have finally gotten to the point where I feel obligated to comment. Many of the tee boxes are so torn up that it an be difficult to find a patch of grass to place your tee. Many of the fairways have been torn apart with divots and there doesn’t appear that any effort has been made to repair the. Many of the roughs on the side of the fairways are completely burnt out due to an obvious lack of watering. The greens have recently undergone aeration and the aeration holes have properly been sanded.
I play a fair number of public courses on Long Island that consist of only one course like Stonebridge, and somehow they are much better maintained and the income from what they charge for tee times is a lot less.
Here’s hoping that the management starts to pay more attention to course maintenance. I haven’t given up on this course yet and look forward to seeing some improvements in the near future.

Painfully slow play.tee boxes in bad shape. Fairways ok

ok course
I was looking forward to playing this course for the first time and what a huge disappointment ! course is in horrible shape , layout of holes and tee boxes are awful, greens were ok but bad design on a few. starter and staff were friendly but wont be going back.
