Stonebridge Golf Links & Country Club

Course was beyond backed up. Took near 3 hours for the front 9 alone.

Cold rainy day but the course is in pretty good shape for this late in the year. Lots of tight tee shots but not too long of a course. Would love to come back on a nicer day. Well worth the trip out East from the city. Will play again.

The course was in great condition; greens were fantastic. Layout is challenging and tight on some holes. Golfers need to hit is straight and long on a number of holes. We were lucky to tee off when we did in the morning, as afternoon groups were hacking up the place, causing delays. We played in just over 4 hours with no waiting. But groups behind us chunking, slicing, laughing, hacking, yelling... they probably didn't finish. I wonder if it would be good to have a ranger get out there? Or some etiquette instructions on how to keep pace and play without agonizing others behind them. We had a good time, though and we will be back... but will try to choose a tee time before the hackers get out there.

the greens were excellent. rolling fair and true. fairways also were in fine shape.

Tee-d off @ 130........barely finished the 18. SUPER slow, no enforcement of keeping steady pace of play, really was the slowest round I ever played. It was a shame because the course was in great shape. They have so many tee times too close to one another that it slows down EVERYONE. SLOW

Such a well maintained course. Excellent condition, especially being so late in the year. I’ll be back.

Lovely course layout, but people really do need to be better about repairing pitch marks on greens - not the courses fault at all. Lots of flying balls and shouts of fore to be enjoyed too. Will definitely play here again!

Better than expected...although not long from the white tees, the course was in good shape except for several tee boxes. Semi private club and a great value. I’ll be back!

Decent price and the course was in very good condition.

Certain courses bring out the best in me and Stonebridge always does. I think it is because it is challenging and forces me to concentrate on every shot.

This review is edited from an email sent via their website which was not responded to: Many times my golfing partner and I have played your course as it is an enjoyable layout and mostly normal pace of play. Today, unfortunately was not one of those days. We had a 2:24 tee time and played at slow but paced front 9 making the turn at around 4:45pm. As we went by the clubhouse we were informed that three groups had stopped and ordered food delaying all the groups who were behind these groups. My foursome was able to play hole 10 with a normal wait time but then noticed when we were on the green that hole 11 had two groups at the tee box.We finished our putts and moved on the hole 11. We had literally a 15 minute wait before we could tee off with another three groups waiting for us to tee off. (See pic) It took another 10 minutes to complete the hole.We waited again on hole 12. Finally, on hole 13 we drove off the course still waiting to tee off again. The time at this point was after 6:00pm when we returned the carts and shared our frustration with the starter. So in essence, 1 hour and 15 minutes to get in three holes. I understand delays for various reasons and thought that my foursome would get in 17/18 holes in a normal 4hr 30min pace, but delaying the following groups by not addressing the three groups getting meals and delaying the start of their back nine led to the delay for all golfers playing after them. This is unacceptable considering we paid full price, with no twilight price offered for the expectation of playing a complete round of golf. This probably left 2-3 empty holes starting on the back and adding an additional 45 minutes to the normal round which could not be completed when sunset was at 7:00pm . While I would recommend this course for its layout, unfortunately, this review is based on the proper pace of play which at other times has occurred when I have previously played this track but was magnified due to the situation on this day when golfing for our group and others behind could not be completed as would be expected.
