About
Murphy Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole course with a links-style layout that was designed by Ken Kavanaugh. The course is prairie-like with a gently rolling terrain. It stretches over 7,548 yards from its longest tees, playing to a par of 72. The layout is quite challenging with several lengthy holes and well-bunkered greens. Due to the openness of the golf course, wind also becomes a difficult factor of the game. The natural landscape includes small lakes and creeks that create water hazards as well as a few trees sprinkled throughout. Murphy Creek Golf Course is also known for being immaculately maintained.

I will never book with golf now app they are scammers from over seas!!!!!
Not easy link style makes it challenging for mid handicap senior. My only complaint is the system for Teetime scheduling. If you book with GN app,
The Aurora system and GN app allowing for senior rate.
No Bev Cart
I love playing this course as it is great! However, for how much you pay to not have a bev cart and to be walking is unacceptable. You have the marshalls drive by constantly and sitting in the worst of spots when trying to tee off. To be sitting 10 feet from the tee box staring at me is not cool. When i tried to wave him on he refused. I had to set my clubs down until he got it and left. If he's gonna be a nuisance like this, he should atleast drive the bev cart and sell some drinks. We were getting dehydrated out there. The course is great, Staff needs to do better.
Best Greens Around
First time I've played Murphy this year, and wish I had been there sooner. Course is in excellent condition, and the greens are the best I've putted all season. Fast and smooth. As always the course plays tough down the stretch. Definitely worth a play if you want a challenge! Hope to return soon.
Most sand traps were hard as rock/clay however, I shouldn’t be in the sand traps in the first place. The rest of the course was in good shape.
Was next to dump
But was anything but a dump the course was nice with great greens they were fast man and the cart girl was great the Marshall was nice as well will play here again closest 18 to my house
Good Day at the course
Had a fun day at Murphy Creek. Weather was awesome. Course played well. It was in good condition. Greens rolled true. Play was a bit slow, but not surprising since it was Sunday. Marshall's were trying to move things along.
Good course, SO SLOW
I want to like Murphy Creek, but I haven’t played a sub 5 hour round here in over five years. Took us five and a half hours to play. Multiples waits at tee boxes. Marshalls don’t appear to be present or do anything about it. Golf shop and restaurant team were very friendly and helpful. So was the care girl. I’d come back if they improve pace of play. If you’re looking for a sub 5 hour round though this is NOT your spot.
Awesome
Challenging. Quick greens. Unforgiving slopes. Deep bunkers but dry right now, so even the green sides play like fairway bunkers.
