About
Grey Hawk Golf Club is a challenging but playable course that is a Cleveland area favorite. It brings resort-quality golf to a remote location in LaGrange that is seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The rolling landscape is the ideal terrain for links-style golf. The course demands accuracy with lightning fast greens surrounded by bunkers and be sure not to stray from the fairways or you'll almost definitely be left with an uneven lie. Unlike a typical links golf course, there are water hazards coming into play on several holes on this layout. The 11th hole features a tricky island green while the third hole has an equally challenging "island green" that is surrounded by sand. Grey Hawk Golf Club is a formidable but fair test with interesting and diverse hole designs.

Early season play
Played 4/2/22. Very chilly, windy and pretty wet. Course was in much better shape than expected. Greens were fantastic and I’m looking forward to playing them in the summer. Bunkers were unkempt but that was expected at this point and after a recent rain. Very nice finishing hole in front of the deck. Clubhouse was nice. Pro shop was slim it seemed. Great value
The course was closed, yet it allowed prepayments for the tee time
We were excited to play at Grey Hawk and drove 35 min to get there only to find that the course was closed.
I called GolfNow since the tee time was already prepaid. They said they will refund the money, but what about my time and the wasted weekend golf oppprtunity?
Both the course and GoldNow seem very irresponsible, and have no regards for their customers.
Great Course
One off the top three courses in the area, glad to see it back on Golfnow. I highly recommend playing this course.
Course is in outstanding shape for this time of year, fairways clear, greens still rolling pure.
Challenging tee boxes and layout for all skill levels. Welcome back, hope you remain on Golfnow.

Loved my round
Played this course a bit and it was a cold one today, high 40s with some wind. Course was in fantastic shape given season. Has some length to it from blue and gray tees but isn’t an overly challenging layout. Has a little bit of water, trees, sand and hills which improves its rating.
Certainly worth the drive for any serious golfer in NE Ohio...
Perfect
Grey Hawk has become one of my favorites. Course conditions ranks at the top in the NE Ohio. Staff is very friendly and I actually had the pleasure of playing with one of the course designers.
My only gripe (minimal) was the handling of the frost delay.

Nice Greens @ The Hawk
If it were for a couple of DbleBogies, I would have had a good scoring round. Greens rolling nicely, fairways actually soft to the point not much roll-out. Sand is thick & inconsistent, although I did have Sandy #3. We started out as 2some, thinking another Member would join us mid-round, so we were sandwiched in between a lot of mid-morning play. It was a pretty slow round, but still did not take away from a wonderful day in the October sunshine @ GreyHawk.
