Punta Borinquen Golf and Country Club

Beautiful course! A couple of T boxes missing on the back 9

Staff was great! Very helpful. Gorgeous scenery and ocean views. The horses were an unexpected sight.

Cart was a little rough.

Can’t wait to do it again!

The greens and the fairways were in good order and the staff was very helpful. The cart was a bit beat up but the views from the entire course were amazing!

Thanks so much!!!

Not really sure about the standards of Puerto Rican golf but the course was not well maintained, bunkers were rock solid, and greens were like carpet. The tee times may be affordable but they hit you with $66 rental fees for a Taylormade RBZ set, then add that up with balls, tees, and you’re looking at easily over $100. We opted for the cheaper set ($35 for some old strata clubs) and the ranger purposefully put together a set with dented/dingy clubs (he gave us a driver with a hole torn in the bottom). Pretty disappointed, can’t recommend coming here as a tourist. Ocean is visible on a few holes which helps but it is miles and miles away.

The views are spectacular. The rental clubs were good. We liked the course layout. No gimmicks. The grass and greens are not great, but very playable.

We shall return.

I drove up from Orlando based on the cheap rate and reviews. What a mistake! This place is a real dump. Plenty of dead spots on the greens, barren fairways and pathetic tee boxes. Don’t waste your time!!!

Awesome time always Sunny and Breezy, Great Staff all around.

Great Layout on top of a cliff overlooking world class beaches. It is just a super fun course to play.

Excellent course very nice staff some holes not very forgiving for beginners but a very fun time and beautiful views

I had a good experience in the course. It was a little bit drier than what I was expecting. Nice staff.

Worth every penny the views are spectacular. Fairways need a little love but very playable.

Very friendly people/staff, made the round that much more enjoyable. Greens need work, same as the tee boxes or fairways. No 18th hole which was disappointing. That said, good practice course, especially with high winds. I'll visit again

Course was fun but the back nine fiasco really left a sour note. Nobody told us the 18th hole was closed and the 14th hole (par 3) was supposed to be played as it had no tee marks. Should’ve charged less given we only played 16 holes.

This course is great. So glad we chose it over one of the much more expensive club courses we considered that had questionable reviews (not just because of the price, and location). Beautiful views and a great day in the course - The staff greeted us, were super friendly and you can tell they take great pride in their course and all the improvements that are happening. Like other Caribbean courses, it gets beat up by the sun and salt air, so there are some rough spots, but they are also working to make improvements. At times a challenging course to play: Wide open in areas with slopes and varying altitudes and long holes, at times high wind off the sea to contend with- but a fun and beautiful day on the links - especially since we were escaping winter up north!

Amazing ocean views from every hole. Needs a little love on certain holes and Fairways. Greens are better but still difficult to stop the ball from less than 150 yards. But the views are worth a million.

When you are playing on an Island in Paradise, around the holidays -finding a GREAT ROUTE, perfect day for less than $100 is a SCORE. This is a really good route. Now, the greens are SLOW, the fairways are long and there is a road that bisects the course a couple of times, but I enjoyed the views of the Ocean, the routing that took a 3 club wind (NE) into account and variation of shots. I rented clubs, which had the common theme of RIGHT HANDED as the only thing tying them together. The 7 iron was a ladies, the 5 wood was a senior - so I leaned on the 8iron, driver and a 15 year old callaway SW. 7 -8 -9 is a great sequence of holes, ocean off the left, great green shapes. It is too bad they dont have the funds to really pamper this thing because if they did --- what a star it could be. That said, I was thrilled to beat the rust off my game, take in the sun, play in 3 hours and enjoy my time there.
