About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Great Day with Buddies
Got to the course early and warmed up for a bit before headed to the first tee. Other than winds in the 10-14 mph range we couldn’t have asked for better weather.
Favorite course
This is probably my favorite course to play. The fairways are in really good shape. The greens are in pretty good shape (have been sanded recently) but still the ball rolls well on them. They are still pretty fast (not PGA fast, but still faster than most I’ve played.) I think the difficulty come in the length of the course. It’s as long as you want to play it with 5 sets of tees. Pace of play is usually pretty good & price is reasonable.
First time
I was staying in Denton and had to swing the clubs. This course was the highest rated in the area according to Golf Now so I gave it a shot. Was happy to see that it lived up to my expectations.
Mean greenskeeper
Course was great, and as always the greens are fast and true, but when the cup is sitting on the side of a hill to when you put the ball up close and it stops then turns around and rolls off the green, I would say someone ****** in his cornflakes.
Worth the Drive
Got a great deal on GolfNow.
Greens were aerated recently, so bumpy and sandy.
Restaurant had no prepared sandwiches to go, ???
Played in 4 hours.
This Course needs playing more than once
The course was very challenging but would be less so after playing a couple of times after being more comfortable with the layout. The course could use better and more water offerings.
Very fun course
Fun course. Some challenging greens…big fairways on most holes. Beware of the rough as they will penalize you much more than you think.
Sanded greens
The Bridges is one of my favorite courses in DFW area. Even though I have a membership at a private course, I typically try and get out and play this course when I can. Course for most part in great shape, but last 6 holes were aerated and sanded without any notice. Wish that would have been communicated and would have made tee time later in month or at least should have had a more reduced rate.
Course in good shape, nice round
Had a nice afternoon. Course was in good shape after some recent wet weather the prior week. Seemed like a reasonable price relative to the limited choices in the area. No marshals on the course, we fortunately doubled ba k and played a couple holes twice to keep a decent separation with the group in front of us. Will play there again. Wish we had more choices in the area.
