About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Golfer Reviews
Built in the country but not a country course
This is a fun, challenging track built out in the countryside of North Texas. The greens were in really good condition for coming out of the winter season, rolling really well and doing what you would expect. Fairways were in decent shape but definitely need some good warm days to really come back to life. Tee boxes were very poor with many of them needing to be resodded or reseeded. There are 5 teeboxes, forward, white, blue, gold, and black. Good putting greens and driving range to warm up with. No GPS on carts, bring a rangefinder!
Wait until May
Poor shape, everything brown, just a few shoots of green starting to come up. No winter overseed. I know from experience it will come back- just won’t play there till May.
Great Time
The course was beautiful and was easy to follow the layout. It was freshly seeded so some areas were rough but still manageable. Even when you were off the fairway finding your golf ball wasn’t difficult and can get into position without much trouble
Bridges Gunter
Peaceful Monday out there - tees selection lets you bite off all you can handle. Variety of approach shots is unmatched around the metroplex.
Bridges, Gunter
I just find it peaceful out there. If you found the right day, it can feel like you’re the only one on the course. Greens were great - fast and true. The variety of approach, due to the size of the greens, is hard to find anywhere else. I love its challenges.
Great Course
Obviously it’s winter conditions! This is my favorite course around the metroplex. The drive is a little far but it is a nice drive to the countryside. The greens are in great shape and rolling fast. There are some challenging holes and pin placements can get you. I can’t wait to play it when the grass greens up!
Great course and price, no amenities
Really nice course especially for the price we paid, but no restaurant no driving range, no cart staff. Really would’ve spent some money on drinks/food on the course but nothing available. They’re losing money
Course in great condition and layout is great!
It was great to play a course with really good green even in winter!
One of my favorites in North Texas
Love this course, staff is friendly. Training areas are great. Loved the new golf carts this year. Pace of place was slow but it was a nice day on the holiday on a great course so it to be expected.
