About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Liked The Bridges So Well ... I Joined!
Great course layout. Requires a few very aggressive shots and the wind is always a factor. Clubhouse and facilities are first rate. Food & Beverage does a great job. I liked The Bridges so much that I joined as a full time member.
Long Trip but Worth It!
This is easily one of the most challenging public courses available to be played in DFW. It's a drive to get there BUT it's worth the trip. It's basically like playing in a wind tunnel, but it's very fair and fun. Good shots are rewarded and bad shots are penalized. Played from the tips (NOT recommended at 7600 yards unless you're a consistent 300+ yard hitter) and it was a blast. Ended up playing 36 to make the most of the trip.
Super friendly staff and regulars. They let faster players play through, which was greatly appreciated. Will definitely play again!

Good course for the money
Upon arrival, waited quite some time for somebody to show up at the pro shop so that we could check in… went to use restroom but no TP in women’s and it was messy..
As far as the course, it was pretty good overall and some challenging holes… it is nice that they also have driving range, pitch in green and putting green.

All pins where tight. Greens were good. Long course. Hole 18 is fun.

Love layout but in poor shape
I really like the Bridges but winter has left it in poor shape right now- Spring weather should get it back in month or so.

Course Needs Work
I’m sure the recent freezes have not helped, but 80% of my shots were played off deadpan dirt. Even if i missed the fairway completely and was in a field, it was just dirt. Greens were in good shape and fast. Pace of play was good. Bar staff was friendly. I’d recommend giving this course a month or so of spring to see if maintenance can get it up and going.

Bad course conditions
Not worth the drive to play the course. Fairways in awful condition.

Course Needs Time
The course needs the weather to change and get green again. Hopefully, the fairways, greens, and tee boxes do not get any funguses or bugs this year.

Overall great course
Great course and will always tell my friends to come here. The one thing that was a little irritating was, the group of 3 in front of us were hitting 3-4 balls each and when I called the clubhouse/Marshall. I was told they are regulars and nothing was done. I get it was windy and cold and not many people out there but respectfully could have came out and address the issue instead of just saying those are regulars. So do to that I quit playing after 10 holes cause it would have been a 6-7 hr day playing behind them. Like I said great course usually great staff they just didn’t care this day

Not the old course I remember
Good layout. Not a rewarding shot all day the fairways are worse that the rough so you can’t be rewarded guy at front desk has never been cool sense he’s gotten there he’s always been a problem but the old bridges is a 10/10 I’ll give this new crap a 5/10
