About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Best "winter" golf
The course is in great shape. The warm winter weather has been responsible for extending the season this year & I'm happy about that. 1The fairways & greens are in great shape, as well as the bunkers. this is my favorite course to play. With 4 sets of tees you can pick your distance according to which one fits your game.(Plus the ladies tees.) Pace of play is usually pretty good.

Very Fine Track
First time visiting The Bridges and was totally pleased with this course. The greens were in great shape and very challenging. The fairways were excellent although the tee boxes were a little beat up. No problem though it’s the only blemish I would mention. I highly recommend this course.

Very Nice Course
Very challenging greens due to significant undulations. Putts rolled true. Driving range was closed and course was damp due to rain 2 days before though the fairways were relatively dry (drains well). Will definitely return soon!

Elevation and undulation, oh my!
I feel like this place is always going to be challenging for several reasons.
1) It's always windy.
2) It's got some great elevation changes.
3) the greens were fast and had tons of undulation. At one point I had three chip shots to a green that was a good 15ft above the ball, only to miss where I wanted to land it and have the ball roll all the way back to my feet. oy vey! I eventually chipped long just so I could make sure I landed safely, even if the putt wasn't ideal.
Hole 18 was a treat.
This was a pleasant course surrounded by nice scenery and modern homes in a newer development.
The course is in a rural area so urban noise pollution to disrupt your round. Very peaceful environment.
I'm by no means good, and I shot what I normally shoot, but this was the first course I've left and thought "man, that place was hard!".
Chipping and putting greats are great and a nice representation of what to expect on the course.

Greens are quick but very good, fairways could be a little plusher, but good considering lack of rain

Course in great condition green are tough fast and 2-3 tiers

Great course with fast greens
This was my first time but can't wait to play again. The course is laid out across a high meadow with some elevation changes. From the gold tees, it plays about 6800 yds and requires a couple of long and accurate shots. There are quite a few sand placed in just the "right" spot; however, the sand is light and deep so you can get out with a good shot. Greens are fast but putt and roll true and hold. If you get above the hole, you may be 3 putting.
Talked to Doug, assistant greens keeper, and it was evident that he and the staff want to create a great golfing experience.
