About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

The New Northern Destination
Absolutely love The Bridges. Great conditions, interesting layout, lots of variety.
Great condition
Although a little on the slow side, Excellent green conditions, especially compared to most public courses in NorthTexas this summer! Fairways plush as well, not many hard pan areas, given the recent heat. A bit of a drive from Dallas, but worth the trip.
Poor treatment by staff
Over the past 2 years we have played quite a few courses and I can tell you we have never been treated so poorly by the course staff. We clearly had 2 back to back tee times booked and the golf staff felt it necessary to provide extreme privilege to a group of members playing behind us. You must know this is not a fully private club. We were a group of 6 black golfers while the Marshal and staff allowed the 4 white members to force their way head of us simply because they didn’t want to wait. The member’s tee time was booked after our 2 tee times, but apparently that did not matter in this case. Have never seen privilege at this level occur and have it be perpetuated by the staff. Horrible experience. Keep and mind we were forced to stop and allow them to play thru.

Amazing Course/ Experience
I almost feel bad knowing that this review will likely increase play and demand, but the truth is the truth. The staff are all amazing and clearly demonstrate how much they appreciate your patronage. The facilities are very well maintained. Yet some how the course is even better. Links style with strategically placed water on a few holes for a twist. The course played very fair and was in incredible condition despite the freeze ease in the year and oppressive 100+ heat and dryness of recent days. If the wind is blowing the course could get even more challenging as their is not many trees the block it. It looks wide open but missing fairways by too much will leave in long wispy (hay) rough, a few times I almost stepped on my ball while looking. I high recommendation would be an understatement. The only slight I could possibly give is that carts weren't the best. That said it looked as the fleet was being replaced. Don't let a little.drice deter you from this one. It is well worth the drive and then some.

Punched Greens
Would have been nice to know the greens had just been punched and sanded before getting there.

GolfNow not telling upfront course aerated day before.
GolfNow has to let you know when you book a hot deal that a course has aerated the greens or fairways. Booked it but they just aerated the day before and you can’t get your money back since it’s a hot deal. Not good service at all.
We are very sorry for any inconvenience you experienced at the course. It sounds like you prepaid for a Hot Deal on GolfNow. When this is the case, no money is paid to the pro-shop so there is no money that is owed back from the course. You may have booked other course times through GolfNow and that is why you were able to obtain a raincheck. If you call GolfNow, they would be happy to rectify the situation. We hope this clears any confusion up and we hope you give us another try in the future.

Impressive
Worth the drive to play this course. Very impressive layout and pace was great. Some challengea on certain holes but overall great place to visit.

Cart and management issues
I was not allowed to play as they refused to give me a cart due to it being peek golfing season as well as denying my request for a private cart. I played here the week before and everyone in my group had their own cart.
The staff and management then refused to give me a cart even after I found out that the fourth person in our group was not at the course. I was then asked to leave after I questioned their business practices even as they were not providing me with the services that I had already paid for with a hot deal days prior.

One of our favorites!
Unlike in the surrounding cities, this course seems to have players that truly understand golf etiquette. After playing the first hole, the foursome in front of us waved us through on the 2nd hole. After that we did not encounter another group until 17 and finished the round in just over 2.5hrs. This is half of the time for a typical round in the cities to the south. Golf course is in great condition, especially the greens.

Love the course
We moved to Texas last year and moved into the Bridges last October. The course is constantly being maintained and at this time of year the course is immaculate! Love it. It is challenging and never is boring. Love it!

Greater Anna Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament
We could not be more pleased with every aspect of tournament! Josh Haynes and his staff were beyond amazing! Sandy went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect. The bev cart girls did an outstanding job keeping all the golfers happy and the food was delicious.
We'll continue to gave our tournament at The Bridges for sure!
