Just wish I didnt suck as much. Tough ckurse but the more shots youbtake the more you get out of your money lol. One of my favorite courses in North Texas

I had so much fun playing this course, one of the best rounds of my life! Was holding putts, saving pars and making birdies. Shot a 73 and I’m so pumped! Course is in great condition! after the rains we’ve gotten. Fun layout and the people were great!

I arrived with my pre paid Golf now tee time. The Pro shop attendee stated that I had to share a cart and that I would have to walk to the driving range to meet my four some. I stated to them that I played here last Friday and that they didn’t have enough carts. There were 35 carts sitting outside the pro

shop. I then asked to speak with the Manager and he reinterred the same statement.

I the. Went got my stuff and asked the attendee to point out my four some. He didn’t know who they were and I asked sir another cart. He kept interrupting me and then we got into it. I then went to driving range to find my foursome and they said the other guy wasn’t even their yet. They tried to get me a cart and the Manager then drove to the putting green were he informed me that I had to leave. I’ve played here many times and I love this course. However, after todays incident I would have to recommend that no one should play this course due to the rude behavior along with the pandemic excuses of not having enough equipment. This was is a very poor customer service experience and I may or may not be coming back and I will be contacting their ownership group. Also, I want a refund.

The Bridges has quickly become one of my favorite courses. Greens are in great condition. Fairways are generous and well maintained.

Only two drawbacks have been:

1.) The uncut moguls on the par 5 14th. The landing area from the blue tees is far too tight with water on the left and the uncut moguls on the right. A ‘seemingly’ perfectly hit tee shot will get swallowed up in the tall grass of the moguls on the right or if drawn too far will find the water/swamp on the left. Simply mowing the moguls would make the hole more fun with a possible “home in 2” shot from +\- 240.

2.) The tee shot (from the blue) on the par 5 18th is limited to a mid-iron layup down the left or a >250 carry over the pond to a narrow landing point. Going for it leaves a looooong shot to the elevated green with another long water carry and navigating around the fairway tree. The risk/reward doesn’t seem to justify the effort. Layup, layup, short iron just doesn’t feel like the Fred “Boom-Boom” Couples we love! ;)

Regardless, the course is ‘special’ and you WILL want to comeback for many more rounds!

Always an enjoyable experience at The Bridges. Generous fairways and receptive greens make scoring well a possibility.

The sand traps are consistent in how they’re maintained and many come into play off the tee.

There was a not before seen phenomenon on the greens yesterday in that there were large ants ambling aimlessly all over the greens. They didn’t seem to be impacting conditions, but it was a bit unnerving seeing the sheer numbers of them on nearly every green.

#18 is always befuddling. Without a risky long carry off the tee to a very (too?) narrow landing zone, the option is a medium iron to layup to the left…but anything hit too well runs down the slope into the hazard area anyway. I hate playing safe and getting hosed anyway!

Not my idea of what I envision a Fred Couples “boom-boom” risk/reward, get home in 2 par 5 should be, but that’s why I’m an 8 index and not a course designer! ;) We’ll keep coming back!

This is definitely a course that needs to be played. My brother and I played here on Saturday. The layout is great and challenging. We played with a gentleman who has played here before so he gave us plenty of advice on ball placement, which was greatly appreciated when trying to hit into the extremely challenging greens. Fred Couples will put a hurt on you with these greens that are in my opinion some of the best in Texas!!! Iwill say it has a links feel to it with high thick grass that will swallow the golf ball in a millisecond. So be prepared to drop if you find the rough. It's wide open for the wind to affect your ball but you can play a great round, just club up or down. Only a couple of suggestions, (1)get coolers for the carts, (2) if the beverage cart runs out of drinks have them come back and restock. The woman working the cart said she was out of beer and was done for the day, this was at 230 with 6 holes for us left to play. Really could have use a cool drink. Also Fred Cuples

The course overall is in good shape. Greens are possibly the best shape I have ever seen them. Almost 5 hours to get a round in on a Monday seems a bit excessive. Not sure if course was overbooked, but there was no marshall on course to keep things moving. The pace of play issue will not stop me from booking here again.

Course was in great shape but there is little rough. You either hit the fairway or you’re in the really long grass and likely out 1 ball.

Greens rolled smooth and with consistent speed. Breaks and slopes were challenging but doable for the average golfer.

Driving range was closed but the putting and chipping areas were both useful for a quick warmup.

First time we played this course and found the course and staff to be enjoyable, pace was good for a weekend round.
