About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

A Little Slow, but still a good challenge
Only knock on this facility is a little slow. Our round took 4 1/2 hours. Greens and fairways were mostly in good shape. Rough is getting long. So keep it in the middle. (Might be why it was a little slow, lots of search parties) Over all this is a good value, I would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful and challenging
Of all the courses I’ve played in the DFW area, The Bridges is one of the few courses I can call a legitimate challenge. It demands all types of shots. Incredible lay out. Remote location. One of my favorites. I will continue going back as often as I can.

Wow, just great
Me and my son and friend. The wind was unreal but very challenging, we played best ball off of the blue tees. Shot a 1 over. We will be back the greens were unreal loved them. Free range balls .

Springtime greening up
I played 3 weeks ago and it was still brown and fast, now it’s really greening up and playing like a golf course! But boy was it WINDy!

Beautiful Layout
I enjoyed playing golf here with a country setting. Rolling hills and Meadows with the Texas wild flowerswerer a sight to behold. Greens were in great shape and the course was as well. Enjoyed the day!

Course has lots of dead areas around the greens. Should be in better shape by now. Looks like it still hasn’t recovered from the freeze last year.

Worth the drive
Have played the Bridges several times now. Love the layout and wide open feel. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the course and had her career round of 85 with a birdie and an eagle on the front nine.
We’ll definitely be back again and with further course knowledge the scoring will be even better!

Definitely worth try
You should go play this semi private course! The greens are in summer condition even though it’s March. The course was really fun and very challenging! Would definitely play again! Freddy couples helped design it
