About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Nice greens
However the course is pretty wide open and straight. I’d rather play one with tree lines and dog legs.

Hidden Golf Gem
The Bridges was outstanding. I am anxious to play it when the course begins to green up in Spring. The greens were quick and several pin positions were ‘slippery’ but not putt-putt trickery. Thoroughly enjoyed the course and will definitely return.

Good course
For winter conditions this course played well. Greens were fast and maintained. I could imagine spring is the optimal time to play this course.

This course it’s one of the best in the area if you include value for money and peace of play in the consideration process. I will keep coming back because this hidden gem still isn’t on everyone’s radar.

Clown shoes
Overalll the course is mediocre but the greens are especially gimmick driven. Not a challenging course until greens which were designed to be at a mineatire golf course.

Gunter Gem
It was worth the hour drive from Dallas to play a Freddy Couple's designed gem in North Texas. The fairways were wide and the rough was low (because it's winter) so I challenged myself from the tips. Each hole's adventure begins near or on the massive and firm greens with ridges and buried elephants. I was in two greenside bunkers that were so deep I couldn't see the top of the flag. I had one putt over 110' long! The course has the perfect balance of long and short holes, dogleg lefts and rights. For being so open, it has tons of variety. Everything was in great shape: fairways,greens and bunkers. I will definitely be back

Great day for GOLF- even in the WIND!
30+ mph winds which are higher than normal. Other than that, what a day! Really enjoy the course because of the wind but this day, it was brutal. STILL SHOT A 78!!!

Great course. Hidden gem in the DFW area
The greens are in excellent shape, especially considering the recent cold temperatures. They seem to roll pretty true and are just right on the speed. The fairways are good too.
