About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Beautiful Layout
I enjoyed playing golf here with a country setting. Rolling hills and Meadows with the Texas wild flowerswerer a sight to behold. Greens were in great shape and the course was as well. Enjoyed the day!

Course has lots of dead areas around the greens. Should be in better shape by now. Looks like it still hasn’t recovered from the freeze last year.

Worth the drive
Have played the Bridges several times now. Love the layout and wide open feel. My wife thoroughly enjoyed the course and had her career round of 85 with a birdie and an eagle on the front nine.
We’ll definitely be back again and with further course knowledge the scoring will be even better!

Definitely worth try
You should go play this semi private course! The greens are in summer condition even though it’s March. The course was really fun and very challenging! Would definitely play again! Freddy couples helped design it

Greens are in great shape
The fairways have recovered nicely from the freeze of '21, and the greens are as good as I've ever seen them.

Very Poor Golf Experience!
Pace of play was terrible! No starter or marshall on the course. Pro shop was totally unaware of how backed up the course was.
Golf cart maintenance poor. Brakes not working and barely ran. Last cart available.
Will not return.

We pride ourselves on our providing great service and the high-quality standards we maintain. We just had all the brakes tightened, so they are all functioning properly. We had a starter both Saturday and Sunday, and that Sunday our pace of play was never worse than 4.5 hours. Also, in regards to the cart barely running, these carts have the lithium batteries so they either run or they are shot. We would like to make things right. Windy location
Good course overall with excellent green conditions.
Be aware this is location is high in elevation with many open field surrounding the course so wind is a major factor.
There are a few greens that really need an overall…putting up a 4’ hill on a green or through a 2’ trench is not a reasonable ask and certainly not something you’d see on any tour.
18 is a true links style hole with 3 separate landing areas, fun bit for the driving distance from the blues the fairway is not deep enough.
I enjoyed my round but I don’t think I’ll be back

Good pace of play. Played 18 in 3.5 hours. Most greens were in very good shape. Some of the tee boxes were bare and most of the fairways had just been punched. None of these things were unexpected for this time of the year. Based on the other courses I've played in the area Bridges is in better condition and more playable than most.

Golf Cart
The course is a good course. However, on the 10th hole my care was running out of power. I called the club on the tee box on 11 and they said they would be right out. In the fairway on 12 I called again and said it was almost dead. Again we are on the way. I barely made it to the 12th green and the cart die. I called again and the person said I see the guy now heading your your way. I never saw they guy. I was lucking that I was able to hook up with guys behind me and play the rest of the way in.
First time I had bad service at this Course.

Nice layout. Some of the greens had been repaired and were slow. A couple of tee boxes were bare but it is at the end of winter. Fairways were in very good shape. The wind was blowing 20 mph making it play really hard. I’d like to come back in the summer and compare.
