The Bridges Golf Club

Except for the location as I have to drive 40-45 minutes, it is one of my favorite golf courses in DFW. The condition is great; staffs are friendly; the pace of play is decent. The wind is somewhat gusty so be prepared.

By far my favorite track in DFW. Not very forgiving, but a beautiful course that presents a challenge at every turn.

The greens had a lot of sand. And if I wouldn't have gotten the hot deal I couldn't afford it

Paid for 18 holes and went off. Stopped by an employee as I was teeing on 10th hole. He told me the back was closed. Had to jam into the front nine to finish. Not very professional.

Course was nice but greens were just sanded.

Absolutely worth getting out of DFW to play. Good layout. Pace of play was fantastic. Here's why: apparently, they run out of golf carts every day. They have to wait for players to finish, then clean, then re-assign for later tee times. Because of this, tee times were pretty sporadic--meaning as soon as you finally got your cart, you headed to the 1st tee. We didn't have the other folks ready who we were paired with so we took off.. We played in 4 hours and had 2 holes open in front and behind us.

Course was in excellent shape. Only complaints are minor.

1) Very little shade on the course. This wasn't a major issue until #2 below.

2). We caught up with a 3some playing extremely slow. The last 3 holes took almost an hour due to the group not playing Ready Golf.

We will be back.

Great course with a great lay out and in relatively great shape. Initially you may see just wide open field with tall grass and brush (watch out for snakes) but each hole has a challenge to offer. After playing today for the first time, there were several holes that I wish I was familiar with. From different slopes on the fairway, position of some hazards and a few tough greens... well worth the drive up here for a nice quiet challenging round. BTW pace of play got slowed up on the back nine with a couple groups taking a lil extra time. Otherwise not a huge deal. And the beverage cart was around at least three times over the 18 holes so that was a plus too

I’ve played The Bridges for over 5 years now. Over the past couple months, I’ve been pleasantly surprised every time I play here. The course is in the best condition that I have ever seen it in. Greens are very good, fairways are the best they have ever been, and tee boxes are good too. They put all new green side bunkers in, and even though they still need to settle they are better than before., and the fairway bunkers are still good too. Took a buddy up who had played there before too, and he was blown away by the conditions.

I’ve even seen a cart girl the last few times I’ve played. The Bridges still has its bite, with fescue and rough that you could lose your kids in, and reasonably firm fairways. But, it is a much more enjoyable round, and a great test for anyone.

Challenging course. Well maintained. Lot's of traps to challenge you. Would highly recommend.

There were two shotgun tournaments booked before our tee time. Seems like the pro shop tried to squeeze in too much and not enough buffer for delays.

We ended up starting at #10 but we were able to finish before sun set.

Can't complain too much as it was Hot Deals time but could've gone worse.

The course is in great condition, greens were fast.

Worth the short drive from DFW. We’ve played here a few times. Tough on a windy day from 7,600 yards, but really fun layout and course design. Greens are always in great shape, and the rest of the course is 4/5. Tough to say how amenities are during COVID, but cart girl usually comes around at least once a round. Love this course and rates are great for weekday rounds.
