About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Never disappointed with this track
Always a challenging but fun round here. Great layout. Greens rolled very well. Friendly staff. Some bunker work needed and I still think the 18th hole doesn't fit the rest of the course. Just my opinion though. Go check it out for yourself. I bet you won't be disappointed either.

Pace of play
It would have been helpful if the marshal had been more diligent about getting slower players to pick up the pace. Too much time spent waiting on tee boxes waiting on slow grips ahead of us.

Everywhere on the course is playable. Don’t worry about a missed shot. You can recover and feel satisfied. Try it out

Great Links Style Course
Over the last 6 years, I have played this course 35-40 times. It's challenging, well maintained, and in general a great track. The staff, especially the Pro there, Josh Haynes, have always been very accommodating and professional. I've recommended this course to many of my friends.
Excellent Day
The course was in great shape and the greens were awesome!!. The Bridges have the best greens in Dallas-FW. They roll true and they are fast. This is a great place to play it is a drive out to Gunter but well worth the time.
They have 5 tees and you can make the course as hard or as easy as you want. The back tees play to 7600!!
I highly recommend The Bridges Golf club.

Links Style in North Texas
i was eager to replay The Bridges again, it had been a long time, free range balls, and easy pace to play made the day relaxing. Hitting fairways 15 mph wind was a tough. Forgiving rolls helped, But the Greens are the reason to go out NOW! perfect greens.

Great course!
Great course with challenging greens! Overall great condition. The only issue we came across was that our cart ran out of battery but it was on 18 so it wasn’t a huge deal. However, the group ahead of us had their cart run out on 14 and we saw another cart being towed back so it seems to be an issue. That being said I will definitely be back in the future!

Good round
A wide open course with some challenging greens. Very relaxed and uncrowded. A great break from city golf crowds. Worth the drive.

Love going out here
Greens were really good. Most bunkers lacked a good base of sand. Course is very dry and balls bounce and run forever. Thin lies in fairways and surrounding greens. Played in 3 hours on a nice Friday afternoon. It’s a drive to get here, but worth the trip. Prepare for wind if you go.

Busy course
Staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Wind is always a factor on this course - very open with little shelter. This is a nice change from the city courses, but be prepared to lose distance if you hit your ball high into the wind.
A few Mickey Mouse holes which makes it memorable and challenging.
I would play here more often if the drive wasn’t so far.
