About
The Fred Couples Signature course is the centerpiece of the Bridges at Preston Crossing. The golf course sprawls across rolling hills that most don't associate with north Texas. Mature trees dot the lush meadows, sliced with ribbons of tall native grasses. The parkland layout has a fair amount of challenges and it is especially tough on a windy day. There are subtle but tricky contours thanks to the undulating landscape and several strategically placed bunkers lurk throughout. Water is not too much of a threat on this golf course, except for the memorable finishing hole. This beastly par 5 lays measures 645 yards and wraps around a massive water hazard. The Bridges is a local favorite because not only is it a challenging round, it is also an affordable one.

Hidden Gem
Other than the 3 some in front of me that didn’t let me play though the ENTIRE 18 holes it was great.
Amazing layout and is in my top 3 favorite courses in Texas after only one visit.

One Of My Favorites
Always love making it up to Gunter to play this track. Fairly wide open and forgiving, but has enough challenges to keep it interesting. Greens were in better shape than any private course I've played lately.

Beautiful, fun links style course. Has a few optical illusions! The greens were immaculate and super fast! Definitely recommend!

Worth it!!
This course is definitely a great value all the way around.
Course is in excellent condition. I played in the afternoon on a Wednesday and it was wide open.
Tees are challenging from all locations. Greens were consistent and smooth.
Hard to find a better value for the price. Only slight negative is the drive but it’s worth it for the price IMO.

Great course, multiple tee boxes, open links layout, super greens. Enough said, go play it. Awesome and very pleasant to look at. Especially when you hit the back 9 and get away from the homes. It lays out in a manner that you only see the hole you are playing. Very cool indeed!

Layout is great and course in fantastic condition. The Bridges is well worth the drive to Gunter. I will certainly be back to play soon.
