Best in Brisbane
By far the best course I've played in Brisbane. Pro shop are friendly and greens are immaculate
Gailes
Great corse for all levels of ability will definitely be coming back regularly
Communication is key
Unfortunately it didn’t live up to what we had heard about it….
I totally understand that course maintenance needs to occur but there was no communication on booking regarding the recently renovated greens and temporary holes.
This should be communicated at time of booking so you can make a decision if you want to go ahead with the booking.
The staff in the shop explained to changes to the course layout due to temporary holes well.
Overall we were pretty disappointed in the overall condition of the course.
Worth a round
Established, well maintained and interesting course. The par 5's are a highlight and a round is well worth it.
Great Course
Gailes is a great value for money course. It is kept in good conditions and the pace of play as also very good. As a bonus you also get to play amongst the Kangaroos!
A great club with friendly staff and a long history
It was a club with friendly staff .
The course was well-organized and it was nice to see kangaroos.
It's a club I want to go to again.
Great local course - would be a regular if I lived nearby
Good layout, relatively flat track and great condition course for the money
Gailes is a Little Gem of a Course
A bit out of the city of Brisbane but a little gem of a course with some lengthy and hilly par-5 holes. As oversea golfers in a 3-ball, it was nice to see kangaroos on the course as well. Perfect weather and everything was great, except the pace of play up front was much slower than our group, so that for each hole, we had to wait to tee off; as literally every hole the group up front of only 2-balls were zipping left and right to look for their errant shot golf balls. I don't mind beginner golfers, but they should only be allowed to book afternoon tee times, not morning tee times and clog up the flow. We had a 9:36AM tee.
Great course
Course was great and staffs were perfect.
My dad alreadt booked again for the next week!
Will definitely come back. You can call the pro shop to book as well.
