About
Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course is home to an 18-hole Championship Course as well as a nine-hole Executive Course. Both courses were designed by Charles Ankrom across a gently rolling landscape of mature trees and winding lakes. The Executive Course provides great practice before the Championship Course but it is also a great place for beginners to learn the game since it is player-friendly enough to appeal to all ages and skill levels. For more advanced players it provides a quick, enjoyable round that can be played in less than 90 minutes. The layout is a mix of par 3s and par 4s with no par 5s. There are a few strategically placed bunkers but overall the golf course is geared more towards a less experienced player. In addition to the two courses, Boca Raton also offers a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

I Like it!
Not your typical Florida course. Donald Ross designed. Long holes with plenty of room to hit. Greens elevated and crowned with plenty of traps. In pretty good shape with greens that are not too fast. 2nd 9 in better shape than front.
Very Slow Pace of Play
This course has been sold and will be closing soon. Apparently management just doesn't care any more. The pace of play is VERY SLOW.
Municipal surprise
This course is an absolute gem. Not a thing was out of place. From the friendly staff, the course conditions and even the pace of play every part of my round of golf was perfect. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone in the area. The condition of this course puts alot of the privately ran courses to shame. My favorite part were the greens they were smooth and quick.
Good course
Good course in good condition greens excellent gairways and tees good shape. I enjoyed the layout if I played it again I would approach it a little different many holes are lay off the tee it position shots
Well run golf
Even if the course was full we started on time and played it in 4h10. The layout is interesting. The fairways conditions cary from one to another: some are green and grassy but others are rather dry. The greens are perfect. The negative point is the bag boy at the reception. I guess he doesn’t like his job. No smile, a bit rude. We gave him a tip to clean our clubs but ask for more to put the bags in my car trunk. Not a good image for the golf.
Slow play heaven.
Slow play at its finest. Foursome in front had two open holes in front of them. Ranger just strolled around and did nothing.
Greens in great shape. Tees need some TLC.
Very Nice Muni
There are two things that would keep me coming back; (1) The pace of play was great inspite of the fact that the course was fairly busy. Rangers were ever present and did their jobs well. Secondly,
the greens were beautifully maintained....readable, not "gimicky", fair and moderately fast. Congrats to the greenskeeper! A pleasant round of golf on a nice muni.
Pretty good value
It’s an above average Florida golf experience. The course is golfer friendly and plays a little shorter than the yardages. There are Marshalls on every 3-4 holes which really helps with pace of play.. The greens are much faster than they visual appear, and also much truer. There are bailout areas on every hole, so one can aim away from the danger. A couple of holes have houses on the side, but that is the boundary of the property holes only. A fun course and relative bargain.
Good value for money spent
For the price the condition of the course is exellent, some improvment on the cart path is needed, but thats a no deal. Posetivily surprised over all
Great Fun, Good Price
Great overall golf course experience at a good price. Fully staffed from bag boy to great burgers. Course tees allowed for all to enjoy, I played the white but next will move back. Group in front of us should of played up a tee and moved slow but a P.A. was professional, on top of moving things along and kept us informed. That alone let me know this cousre is well managed and cares! Fairways a little thin in spots but greens were in very good shape. I could play here often.
Perfect Greens
The course is in good shape for a public course. The greens were in perfect condition. The speed of play was excellent as our foursome played in 3hrs and 50 minutes with a foursome in front of us.
