About
Boca Raton Municipal Golf Course is home to an 18-hole Championship Course as well as a nine-hole Executive Course. Both courses were designed by Charles Ankrom across a gently rolling landscape of mature trees and winding lakes. The Executive Course provides great practice before the Championship Course but it is also a great place for beginners to learn the game since it is player-friendly enough to appeal to all ages and skill levels. For more advanced players it provides a quick, enjoyable round that can be played in less than 90 minutes. The layout is a mix of par 3s and par 4s with no par 5s. There are a few strategically placed bunkers but overall the golf course is geared more towards a less experienced player. In addition to the two courses, Boca Raton also offers a driving range as well as putting and chipping greens.

Nice municipal course. Great greens!
Very good municipal course. Very friendly and helpful staff. Course was a little wet, but was very playable. Bunkers were manicured, but green side were a little too firm. Pace of play was a little slow for the first few holes, but we still played in four hours. The greens were EXCELLENT! Smooth, consistent speed and soft enough to hold full iron shots.
The course was in good shape, especially the greens. Enjoyed the play for a Sunday and the staff was out and about making sure the pace was just right.
Muni, But nice
It was my first time there. Didn’t know what to expect. It cost more than I’d been paying at other local courses recently. Staff was OK. Not especially friendly, but what can you expect from civil service staff. Nice range, nice carts with GPS. Course was in great shape. Traps need more sand as the sand is hard packed. Pace of play was fine.

The course overall was in very good shape.Medium speed greens also in good shape.
And the pace of play was excellent.
Not bad........
Played here yesterday and round was good. Course conditions were just okay as the greens were rough as putts didnt roll smoothly. Not sure if they cut them as the ball was really hopping. Layout is good. Lots of room to spray the ball around. Pro shop needed some extra help as when we got there it was packed with 12 players trying to pay and get either to the range or putting green prior to tee off. We didnt have time for either. Most likely would not return to play here again.
Keeps on Tickin
They're doing a nice job maintaining the course. GREENS are in very good shape and it was nice to see lessons being given and people coming out late afternoon to play.
Saw the cart girl at least three times and thats more than i can say at many other courses.
A truly enjoyable golf course!
It is always a treat to play this course. Fun design, always in great condition. A very good pace of play.
