Great water features and course condition is great. Tricky holes require accuracy. Great course and value would highly recommend.

The course is good value for money and has a variety of tricky holes. I will be back.

On our visit on 2 Sept 2025 however the fairways were cut high and the rough was much higher & hard to get out of. It also slowed play up greatly, trying to find our balls.

The greens were in good shape though.

It is almost impossible to find your way from one tee box to another - directions were not clear leaving the previous green. This is an problem that should be looked at please.

The price of the buggy (for 1 person) was a bit steep @ £45. However, the overall experience was positive. Thank you.

Had the chance to play here while staying on holiday close by. Fairways were in really excellent condition despite the heavy rain, hazards and rough also well positioned. Nice elevated tee boxes always a bonus some a little close to previous greens though and I thought the quality of the greens themselves would have been a little better would be my only minor criticisms. Toilet at half way was a great touch.

Definitely will be playing again next time I am closeby.

Played this in some tough conditions after heavy rain. That considered the course was in Great condition. It's a fair golf course, you will score well if you keep it in play amd be punished fairly if you don't. It doesnt play very long somwpuld definitely recommend for a mid to high handicapper. Brilliant value for money and I will definitely come back frequently to enjoy more rounds at this fantastic resort.

First time at Castle Hume and enjoyed the course and conditions. The only thing that let it down was a slightly confusing layout which was exasperated by very little signage.

Lovely we course. Would play again definitely. From the girl in the pro shop, the members on course and in the clubhouse and all the staff were very friendly and helpful and the dinner was delicious. The course itself played really well considering all the rain lately. Greens were very true. Maybe a sign post or 2 to guide between holes would help. But that's only fault I have.

Poorly signposted from hole to hole, drainage could have been better.

The course was in shocking condition. I understand that it may flood near the lough, but that’s no excuse for drains and shucks to be clogged that are away from water. There was little to no visible signage to indicate where to play the current holes or where the next hole was at times. I had to search up the course layout online.should be on scorecard

Also, a lot of the fairways have very long grass. Again, I get that it has been very wet, but for Sunday golf I would expect roughs and fairways to be fresh cut. Between our 4 ball, we lost 5/6 balls on fairways which plugged badly. Have played a lot of different courses this year, but this is the first I wouldn’t come back to.

We really enjoyed our visit here. Lovely course and great round. A couple of places we weren't totally sure where the next tee was but a minor issue
