Overpriced for Quality of Course
Nice staff, clean carts and on time (actually early) start. Fairways were somewhat decent but greens were in bad condition. Pretty course. Overpriced for an executive course, especially since no amenities

small course. Lot's of sand traps
The course was fine. But slow moving. For a small course that should not be a problem and it was.

Good layout
We liked the course. Unfortunately the greens are not in good shape. I played this course when it was a par 72 and it still has enough of the longer holes to make it interesting.

Not so great
Course seems to be getting worse. Heart of the season, and the fairways and greens are mostly brown and muddy. Was also a bummer that we weren’t allowed to walk the course. It’s a par 3. How is walking not allowed?

Nice course
Most of the greens are very sandy. The fairways are decent as well as the bunkers. In general it’s an ok executive course. I would play there again.

My Home Course
Came across Boca Dunes as it is a mid-way point for the group I golf with.
As I'm fairly new to the game, the course itself is more than challenging for me. My friends who are more seasoned golfers also find it challenging enough. The atmosphere is casual, and other golfers never make you feel rushed. We've also been more than happy to let others play through if we feel we are slowing down a round (which happens this time of year when all the snowbirds are back down South).
When we first started playing the course roughly 8 months ago, it was in pretty rough shape. The tee boxes had little grass, and the greens were a ragged mess. But over time Boca Dunes did an excellent job getting that fixed, and for a while the greens were really quite nice.
That is until recently. We've noticed the past few rounds that the greens are threadbare, and you're often putting on sandy gravel.
It also seems odd that we're having to work our way around the greenskeepers late morning (11 am, 11:30 am, Noon). Seems like t he mowing should be taking place much earlier (like before the course actually opens).
As members, we get a discount but for the shape the course has been in, even $45 (which includes tax) is starting to feel steep.
Hoping that they get the course back in tip-top shape.

Course Needs a lot of work
Course conditions were poor, grass was patchy all over the course. Tee boxes and greens were really in bad shape

4 hrs!
Shorts course par 62 horrible that it took 4 hrs to play with carts. A fourball ahead of us totally blocked everyone else.
