As a social player and booking online it would be nice to know that the greens have recently been sanded and cored as I would not have booked and played knowing this before hand,Not even the person in the pro shop advised me of this only found out as I went to the putting green before teeing off and had 2 putts and was like how am I supposed to improve my game if the greens are like this.Also pace of play is really bad have not played here for over a year and it will probably be another year or so till I come back
Nice course at affordable rate.
Fairways were a bit dry and hard, greens were pretty good. The worker mowing the green was not friendly/helpful, saw me ready to go for the green and yet still proceed to start mowing the green. I had to wait for a few minutes for him to finish. Otherwise would have been a 5 star for staff friendliness.
Good course
Good course. The last couple of holes are dangerously set up when social players are playing. Got very busy with people and balls flying everywhere.
Great value for money
Not all courses in Brisbane are open due to the rain we have had. It was good to have a game. Staff were friendly.
Great value and relatively quiet course
Course was in reasonable nick although some green little patchy with some weeds incursion also. Rey y on the course so pace of play excellent. Will play again and would recommend on the basis a basic course on which to go and groove in short game, better than mindlessly belting balls at a driving range.
Great for the casual golfer
One of Brisbane's best courses for the casual golfer.
We play here often because its cheap and really enjoyable. Roos everywhere and the course is generally more fun to play than some more expensive courses around town.
Fairways and greens are reasonably good for a value course but the roughs and areas between holes are not so great.
Hilly with many challenging holes and pokey par 3's but overall average in difficulty.
Clubhouse seems like a cracking spot for a post round beer and a meal with a nice terrace area overlooking the river.
Very hilly course
I am an intermediate golfer and I found this course quite challenging. A lot of the holes were very hilly and unforgiving. Course layout was very confusing at times and I had multiple people asking if I knew where different holes were.
I would still recommend this course to a friend as it was fun to play due to some very challenging holes where you had to work for your good shots.
