Why buy rocks for the bunkers?
I do love this little course despite some hard fairways. It’s a fun little lay out.
I just don’t understand why they would buy sand for their bunkers that includes large grey rocks. You spend half your time trying to clear a path for your ball on the green.
The sand on the ground repairing the fairway is less rocky. It really impacts your game.
Large groups poor etiquette very slow
A lot of booked players would not have been able to play a full round or finish the round that they paid for yesterday.
A group of 11 with 6 carts who were sharing clubs between 2 or 3 and who couldn’t play very well. Had no respect for the course. Or those waiting behind. Took an hour to play 3 holes.
Was a shame cause Bardwell is normally better than that. I don’t mind varied player skill , I’m not the best but there should be some basic instruction given by the pro shop on club requirements, pace of play and letting groups through. This didn’t occur.
Love This place
A great secret .
Good variety of hole and several fun elevated tees.
Only thing I wish they would do is put in a couple of warm up nets.
Booked $27 online, but paid $40 at course
Booked $27 per player, but paid $40 at course.
$40 was including $6 drink voucher that I've not requested.
The reason of different of price could be the date of play is on public holiday I guess.
There was no explanation.
If I realise I need to pay $40 when I booked online, I will not play there.
Terrible players
Terrible young players behind me. bad fairway bad green condition and the lay out of courses are all below average. Never recommend here
A challenging course in excellent condition
This course is challenging due to the natural hills and slopes of the valley and provides the opportunity to use a variety of clubs from your bag. Pin locations on some holes were tricky and added to the challenge of the course. I have played here a few times and can say I have never seen the course look better, well done ground keepers.
Food from the bistro was amazing and great to see early morning barista coffee available.
Great value, challenging course
I played with 3 friends and the course was in great condition and wasn’t too backed up for a sunny Saturday! It is one of the best value courses in Sydney
Great Value
Course is excellent value for 34 dollars a round, in Sydney close to the city there aren’t many other decent courses you’ll get on to for double the price. Tees in good nick as are a good size on each hole, greens are challenging enough and in good condition. Pace of play was good - we were a 4 ball done in 3hr45, definitely recommend!
Great Value For Money
Paid $25 pp for a round on a Sunday
Got more then Paid for :)
Staff in pro shop where a great help
