Poor conditions, holes closed
Friendly staff and good coffee but the fairways and greens were in bad condition and 4 holes were closed.
Cheap at $30 but probably only worth $20 in reality.
Great value and close to the airport
A real surprise packet, course is very picturesque and close to the airport, great value for $30 and staff were very friendly
Didn’t bother putting
This course has seen better days. Not too sure what the backstory is to why the greens and some of the fairways are in the condition they are but hope they fix it soon for others. The greens were scattered with dead grass and some holes the flag had been repositioned to a part of the fairway. Other holes the fairway hadn’t been mowed and had tall grass covering what used to be a fairway. The hole positions were also very odd making you walk here, there and then back over here to play your 9 holes. Definitely better places to pay $25 for a 9 hole game
The course isn't in great condition but it's a fantastic culture and atmosphere
This isn't your stuffy, hoity toity club.
There is not a bit of pretentious snobbyness at this club. It's a working class, laid back club which as a very relaxed dress code and oozes inner west cafe culture.
You'll see locals who have their dogs out for long walks and with tatted up, super chilled and friendly guys playing rounds.
What this club lacks in the course conditions, it makes up for in heart and spirit of it's members.
I'm very glad that this club wasn't halved and made into a 9 hole golf course, it would have destroyed the soul of the club. The members themselves.
