Fair Round
Had a relatively enjoyable round. The clubhouse facilities and the surrounding lakes are significantly better quality than the rest of the course.
Not to say the course is poor as the layout results in some challenging holes but the course was pretty boggy (somewhat out of their control) and fairways weren’t in the best of nick.
Green were fine though and ran true.
All the courses on the Gold Coast are tending to be price above their value but at $60-70 with a cart there are probably better courses in that same price bracket.
Interesting layout
5 par 3 and 5 par 5 demand technical ability course management and shot selection rather than power. Lovely setting lots of water and wildlife. Most holes discrete with trees as boundaries
Greens are very good
Best Value for money Course on the GC
The course layout is perfect for a friendly game, it’s not an overly long course and will also suit mid to low handicappers as it’s challenging enough with great bunker locations and water hazards.
The carts have GPS there is always loads of ice in the ice bin, and carts are clean and tidy
Range and putting green very close to first hole and maintained to a high quality.
Highly recommend and I’ve been playing here for 20yrs
Wednesday midday is a great quite time to play
Enjoy
Pristine as always
My favourite course on the Gold Coast - up to its usual great standard. Love this course.
Potential
Staff were great, greens and bunkers were really nice also but seemed like a lot of the course had been neglected lately. If they got the fairways looking nicer would be a top course.
Not a terrible experience by any means but a little disappointing when you can see the potential hasn’t been met. Will definitely come back to see if it improves in a few months.
Best Course on the Gold Coast
A challenging shorter course that you can really improve your game on, playing percentage golf you can really get in a good score,
We played after a night full of of rain and the course fairways, greens and bunkers dried up by out 1245 tee time
I’m considering joining as the amenities can also really help your game. Staff are great and at the moment Emerald Lakes is my and the boys favourite course.
Great course
This is a good, playable course. Great layout and in excellent condition.
The bunkers were a bit like playing from concrete however we have had a fair bit of rain recently.
The speed of the greens was quite variable today however they were in great condition.
All in all great value for money and a fine course.
I'd rather be golfing
The course was pretty wet underfoot but we expected that with the amount of rain we had. Still a fun day out and I'd rather dodge rain and play golf than sit around at the weekend.
Emerald Lakes is hard enough to be challenging but easy enough to keep me hopeful.
Love golf!!!!
Well maintained Course
Course was in great condition. Buggies were well maintained and fairly new. Pace of our social game moved along very well..even though there were a few groups celebrating Christmas 'golf' at the end of year. All Good.

Good value for money
Easy going and friendly stuff.
Very good amenities before and after golf.
Great course
Well kept greens and a challenging layout, a very nice course.
Very tight course
Was good first 9 but slow playing groups ahead made it hard then the rain and storm arrived so never play back nine
