Gold/Red at Westchester Golf & Country Club

I have never been disappointed with Westchester. I have played there occasionally for 20 years and I know it will always be an enjoyable round. The greens and fairways are in great shape. Even on a crowded Saturday afternoon our round took just over four hours.

We played the Blue/Gold combination (the course has three 9-hole layouts). A little slow on the first 9 (Blue), but on the second 9 (Gold), we were all alone. So, 4 hours, total. Fairway conditions were better than average. Greens looked a little worse than they actually preformed--which was pretty well. The layouts seem to make up for lack of length with lots of doglegs. Fairly priced; I paid about $50. Big dining room looked impressive, though I did not partake. Overall, an above average course that I recommend.

I had played Westchester once before several years ago. It had an opening at around the time we wanted to play so me and two friends decided to give it a try. It was packed when we got there and we played behind a foursome on the front nine but still played in under two hours. We made the turn and had the back to ourselves! The course was in much better shape than I anticipated due to the amount of play it gets. The greens were true and quick. I'll play it again soon.

Greens, fairways and tee boxes in good shape. Would recommend to any intermediate to good golfer

Very nice and playable course and a good value Well located between Delray Beach and west Palm Beach.

Stress free round of golf, but do not under estimate the course. Can bite you if you do not pay attention.

When checking in, a playing partner asked about the food and beverage cart, we were told that there was one and it was on the course. We played 18 holes, and the went for a beer, while we we're sitting on the patio we saw the food and beverage cart drive by that was the only time we saw the cart.

Always enjoy this course. Facility is top-notch. Truly your "country club for a day."

Great greens. Good pace of play, although weather was blustery and a few showers, so some cancellations. All in the foursome agreed the experience was fun.

the course was in very good shape and the staff and fellow golfers all were friendly and helpful. The property (3 regulation 9-holes, 1 exec 9-holes) is spread out and there is plenty of water for everybody!
we played Boca Greens (fair condition....friendly atmosphere), Atlantic National (very good condition.....very unfriendly ranger) and Westchester (very good condition and friendly staff/rangers).

Played this course for the first time in 5 yrs. In the past the greens were very slow due to over seeding. Although the greens are improved, the fairways were in need of cutting. The course was set up for Sunday play with the tee's forward and the pins in the center of the greens.

Great day, windy, pace on par, ha ha.

I would play this course again. There are a considerable number of water and sand hazards which are challenging, as well as, the greens. No boredom here!

Placement of the red and silver tees facilitated easier drives without water hazard. Blue and white tees did not have this advantage--extra balls would be a good plan.

Played Blue and Red course, nice layup of the course, a weather on every and each hole,which it is making a good challenge for every level of
player! Will go back again for sure.

Not fior beginners or short hitters , lots of water to navigate and and some long carriers especially number eight red and blue , did not play gold perhaps next winter

Course with a lot of dog leg and a lot of water,but Nice lay out.the Pace of play Is fair about 4 Hours.A couple of par 5 are reachable in 2 If your drive Is about 250 yards,but the greens are well protected it Is as your Risk.go there you'll have fun.

All four in my group enjoyed the course.... beautiful course with well trapped greens. Flora, fauna and wild life were in abundance. Could use a few more signs if unfamiliar with the course.... will definitely come back.
Played Gold to Blue

Course was in good condition and overall, decent corse design - my only issue was that there were 4-5 holes that appeared to be exactly the same (375-390 yard dogleg right with water all down the right side). Recommend this course but try to get early tee time due to pace of play.
