Gold/Red at Westchester Golf & Country Club

Our group played the Blue and Red Courses, which were in excellent condition and presented a challenge for all skill levels.
Greens roll very true and were reasonably fast. However ball marks on the greens are not being repaired, our group repaired several on most greens.
Staff very friendly and attentive.
Will definitely place Westchester in our summer rotation of Courses. Excellent value.

Lot of sand on the greens. I found that putting is more difficult when the greens are being covered with sand.

I only have good things to say about this course.
We played the Gold & Red.
Course conditions were great for the price paid.
The layout is also nice.
I'll play there again for sure.

I enjoed this course for the simple reason that its maintained properly. The greens are wonderful, nice roll, and the fairways are in suberb condition. I will be back often.

Il was the second Time we play at Westchester Golf and we like this golf. You Will found a lot of sand trap.

On the day I played this course, it was in excellent condition. Tee boxes, fairways and greens were all in great shape.
The course was quite challenging and definitely one of those course where knowing the precise layout of the holes is a distinct advantage.
What I liked most was the fact that each of the holes had its own distinct look and feel. Signage could have been better; I got confused about where the next tee was a couple of times, but I have a bad sense of direction anyway!
The unusual thing about the course, which I'm sure some people will find annoying, is that the 27 holes are very spread out. Seemingly the course spans multiple (gated or otherwise) communities, and I found myself driving along sidewalks and having to cross streets a lot. For older or more nervous people the street crossing might be off-putting. The up side of this arrangement, however, is that you mostly don't see other holes from the hole you're on at any particular time.
Practice area was very nice and conveniently located. No synthetic mats in sight on the driving range, thank heavens.
Staff were helpful and friendly. I will definitely be going back to give the course another shot.

The Westchester golf course has got to be one of the best courses in Palm Beach County. It is in excellent shape in all respects. The fairways and roughs are in great shape and the greens are true. This will now become my most played course. From the cart guys to the front counters guys, they are all so nice and very professional.

Big problem getting off no carts available confused starter althought accommodating I think this course is guilty of overbooking like many other courses in south florida

the starter could have been more friendly, would prefer rakes lkeft at the bunkers, nice greens, good layout, cart girl and bartender friendly

Enjoy playing this course as long as it is the Red and Gold. Do not enjoy the Blue as much

from check in to starter to marshaling this course is poorly managed....with crisp management this course could be a lot better......I would still recommend the course, slightly...

Westchester never lets you down. The course is well maintained and presence enough of a challenge for the average player, especially in windy conditions. With the dry season upon us in Florida the course conditions have changed from even a month ago. Greens are fast and fairways roll. Pace of play is very good out here.

Challenging course layout from the tips. Greens are firm and fast. Water on almost every hole.

Have played this course for 15 years. Conditions, staff, and rates have fluctuated all over the place. Current staff polite and professional. Current conditions at high level. Regular rates a tad high for my group or we would play here more often.

Would have stopped at the bar for a beer but 'no happy hour' and prices too high for us wealthy but cheap bargain hunters.

I've always liked this course because it is challenging and in most
instances in very good condition but this time a few of the greens
needed attention and all the greens had a little sand on them.
The price is a little high especially for the time (2:07) we went out.
I may have to wait until the price comes down a bit the next time.

The staff is friendly, and importantly, honest. The course had a slow down on the day we played, and they didn't try to sugar coat it, they were honest about it, which I appreciate. We have played here several times this year and the slow down was unusual.

we visit florida every winter to play, this will be a regular place for us.

the course represented a reasonable value. conditions were average for the area. the greens were very slow. the range is substandard.the pace of play was orrivle and nothing was done by the rangers to improve it. the tee sheet was overscheduled and starter was overwhelmed with getting people off three tees and managing crossovers. the pro actually came out to help him. they wre all verypleasant and tried their best but their system doesnt work. theynha one clerk at desk in proshop and she was a wonderul elderly woman who was grossly overwhelmed by the volume of people and transactions which made me very sympathetic to her plight. she needed help and didnt get it. if scheduled properly, this is a pleasant course which is pretty easy but enjoyable. they need to schedule things better and increase staff.

Overall the course is in very good condition. Water comes into play on just about every hole of the three 9's. Only complaint right now is that the greens are not running very fast. Played here quite a lot over the past 2 years and the greens were much faster and truer.Nothing a good clip and a roll can't fix.
