Disappointing
Overpriced golf course some parts in poor condition golf carts are old well past their use by dates
Totally overpriced
Greens need some love, and at $93 won't be playing there to often
Poor pricing
Paid $84 for 18 holes and a cart to find out after I paid that only the back 9 was open which you could play “twice” to get your round of 18 in. Disappointed in the cost for what was on offer.
Very enjoyable course.
Course was in good condition. A few greens were under repair, but nothing major.
Pace of play was excellent.
Will play again.
Not even open
Paid $169 to show up and the course is closed due to lockdown. Even called the day before to ensure they would be open and was told 100% golf continues as normal. Really disappointed.
Disappointing
This course is slowly deteriorating the facilities are old and in need of maintenance.
The course is a mess and a shell of its glory days. Lack of upkeep to the aesthetic really let’s it down. Over priced for what’s on offer on the Gold Coast. Won’t be back in a hurry.
Great Course
First time playing this course and I must say, it’s one of the best I’ve played on the coast. Layout of the course is excellent with water on almost every hole. Fairways in excellent condition. The only downfall to this course is it’s greens. But after 3 or 4 holes you can judge the speed of them pretty well. If the greens were to be fixed up I would probably join as a member. Overall great day of golf.
Greens and Tees terrible
Not worth the money, if on the greens the balls were jumping from weeds and sand holes. Bunkers had puddles and not usable.
Terrible Condition
Greens are unputtable no sand in traps, tees need to be mowed and branches over hang the cart paths. Never again
Nice morning at Colonial
Great morning, course in ok condition... clear maintenance is needed across the course... greens cut well but can be better.
the bunkers appear to have been abandoned for some time.
The tee boxes generally are in an urgent need of mowing
the greens are in good condition . Generally speaking the greens are not to challenging from a slope perspective.
There is water about on virtually all holes so it pays not to wander off the fairway.
Fabulous layout
The layout of the course is excellent and the ground staff are doing an excellent job with what they are given.
Having said that the course is suffering from a lack of attention. All the bunkers required racking and some had GUR signs in them. The wooden bridges require immediate attention as they unsafe in their current state "use with caution"
The course would be excellent if a little money was spent.
