Cove Cay Golf Club

I liked the layout. Greens were punched but still rolled nicely. I want to come back when greens grow back after punching.

Greens and fairways looking good!

Greens played ok despite recent aeration. Fairways & tee’s in excellent condition. Some Sand traps were actually mud traps due to heavy rains. Definitely will return when in the area.

Course was in great condition, I was aware they just aerated the greens but they were still in fine shape if you asked me. No complaints about tee boxes or fairways and pace was amazing. Love playing here, first time in a while but I will be back. Pricing was great to due to aeration.

Some tee boxes need some work, greens are bumpy due to being aerated. Water on course is nice and staff 10/10, cart girl comes around which is handle. They need to do something for holes 1 & 10 with driving range balls all over the place.

Course is in overall good shape from tee to green. Pace of play was an issue due to marshal to keep things moving. Recommend if in area.

I assumed the course was private and was pleasantly surprised when I learned it was open to the public. The staff is friendly and courteous.

The food is very good.

Great time

Luckily, got an early start, group behind us was 3 holes behind pace by #8 (according to the Marshall). Finished in 3.5 hrs. Greens in good shape, fairways ok, l'il sparse. Bunkers are like alot in this area: dark, heavy, wet "sand", couldn't figure them out. BEWARE! On hole #1 at least 6 balls from slicers on the driving range were hit all around us, even hit green while we were on it. Yellow range balls everywhere. Staff was good. BTW, they sent a 2-some out behind us on back 9, presumably due to large gap behind us.

$100 rounds here. I swear to Jesus I have never played a worse golf course. I wouldn’t pay $10 to play here. Absolute robbery and the marshal and staff here are so clueless and dumb, what a sad sad place I am going to dispute my charges from Amex cause this was fraud.

This course is difficult and fun. My main complaints would be the small greens and the pricing. We got a hot deal on golf now for 55 total per person. But I wouldn’t pay more than that. $99 is way to much normally when mangrove bay is $50 with nicer greens and larger greens as well. The fairway here were very nice I will say, some of the best in area I have played on. My last announce is the price of drinks I paid $16 for 2 waters and 2 gatorades…

We booked a Hot deal because the time worked for us but when we got there both the pro shop and the starter made like we did something wrong or stole something . They paired us up which was fine but as we made the turn there are 3 groups on the tee and they sent them off the back so know if you do t pay the full rate you’re treated like crap and it’s in NO way worth $65 Avg condition course at best !!!
