Cove Cay Golf Club

$100 rounds here. I swear to Jesus I have never played a worse golf course. I wouldn’t pay $10 to play here. Absolute robbery and the marshal and staff here are so clueless and dumb, what a sad sad place I am going to dispute my charges from Amex cause this was fraud.

This course is difficult and fun. My main complaints would be the small greens and the pricing. We got a hot deal on golf now for 55 total per person. But I wouldn’t pay more than that. $99 is way to much normally when mangrove bay is $50 with nicer greens and larger greens as well. The fairway here were very nice I will say, some of the best in area I have played on. My last announce is the price of drinks I paid $16 for 2 waters and 2 gatorades…

We booked a Hot deal because the time worked for us but when we got there both the pro shop and the starter made like we did something wrong or stole something . They paired us up which was fine but as we made the turn there are 3 groups on the tee and they sent them off the back so know if you do t pay the full rate you’re treated like crap and it’s in NO way worth $65 Avg condition course at best !!!

Love the course. A couple additions would help. A few ball washers and some more yard makers would really help. Blue, white and red stakes along the car paths would really make a difference. Thank you for a great day!!

Tee boxes and Greens were a bit dry but overall the course was in average shape

The rangers driving around were more interested in interrogating groups to determine if they brought outside beer to the course instead of picking up the pace from what was ultimately became more than a 5 hour round. We watched multiple groups waiting for "drivable" greens to clear, while playing from the back tees, only to hit shots that didn't pass the front tees.

Compounding the inquisition by the ranger, was the beverage cart driving past my playing partner who was trying to get her to stop on hole two; only to never see her again.
