Pomona Golf & Country Club

About
The Pomona Golf Course is a nine-hole, public course nestled in the wilderness of Southern New Jersey. The flat, wide course is geared more towards beginners so experienced golfers might not get much besides light practice on this course.
Pomona Golf Course is also located minutes away from casinos and entertainment. The course plays to a par of 32 with 2,426 yards at the longest tees. Detailed directions are needed since the golf course is somewhat hard to find if you are not familiar with the area since there are no signs of how to get there along the roads. Credit cards aren't accepted either, cash only.

Knucklehead
The group in front of me had a knucklehead who left some greens a mess - I'm not sure what kind of shoes he was wearing but he left plenty of scoff marks on the greens.
Come on Man!
Crazy expensive for what you get
$35 for nine holes on a course this poorly maintained is absurd. The fairways and rough are indistinguishable, just weeds at the same length, and the greens are inconsistent and frustrating.
I booked a tee time and was supposed to be paired with another twosome, but they just went off on their own. That kind of free-for-all only slowed everything down and made the round a mess. By the time I finished nine holes at 12:45, the first four were still completely empty.
What was once a popular course is now overpriced, poorly run, and a shadow of what it used to be.
Awesome local spot for those who enjoy a good time
This course is awesome if you are looking for a good time and not being overly challenged. Staff is great pace of play is good and the food/drinks at the restaurant are phenomenal. Highly recommended as a great spot with great vibes.
Great value
Took my 13 yr old daughter for her first time and was pleasantly surprised with the shape the greens were in. This is a 9 hole course a perfect setting for those with little to no experience. The staff was very friendly and gave us the option to use a cart for under $50.00... I would highly recommend for beginners or those who want to brush up on their short game skills.
Once again
Have been playing this course each week for the last six weeks and it keeps getting better and better. Wish some of the golfers would clean up the ball marks on the greens. And lift their feet more - leave the green in better shape than before you got onto the green please.
I did not get his name but gentleman in pro shop was a super guy . Very helpful & courteous!
Another 9 holer
This course is getting better each time I've played it since new owners bought it last year. Only a couple of greens have some rough spots - tee boxes getting better all the time - fairways are improving. Love the way they've taken out some trees and scrubs around the course - makes it a much better layout and pace of play improves since nobody is spending too much time looking for balls.
