Vineyard National Golf Course
About
The 18-hole, public The Vineyards is situated in the South Jersey Pinelands with beautiful views of orchards and vineyards. The same meticulous care that goes into Renault's award-winning restaurant and winery went into the championship golf course that spans over 7,000 yards.
The designer kept frequent golfers in mind when creating the layout for the course but it won't overwhelm golfers with higher handicaps. There are strategic elements that offer the opportunity for risk and reward. The 1st hole is the signature hole offering a beautiful view of the vineyards. The Vineyards has a yardage of 7,213 playing to a par of 72.

Perfect fall day for golf!
The course was clean, the staff was friendly and the sun was shining! Love the course.
Sandbagger53
Who aerates in November? New ownership trying to turn it. Staff talked up the investment that’ are being made. Greens are challenging and well maintained. Fairways in good shape too as are tee boxes. Biggest drawback in there very little grass around the fairways. For the price point the competition In the area is going to make it tough on them. I will try next year it’s in good to great shape.
Nice layout, greens rough
Course is in nice shape short of some of the greens. Aeration holes on a few made putting interesting. Many ball marks and spike scuffs to navigate obviously not the courses fault. Fix your marks, pick up your feet !!! Greens are tough with some of the pin placements
Great Oct Weather
Very friendly and organized bag drop attendant and starter. Course was in good shape. Wish more golfers would fix their ball marks on the greens.
The foursome in front of us were getting very intoxicated from their numerous visits to the beverage cart, which slowed down play on the back nine and backing up all of the groups behind them. The rangers were no where to be found.
Please keep spending money on improvements to the golf course.
Not a $100 course
Let me say that I have played this course approximately 50times since it opened. I have seen it go from pristine upscale daily fee to a bankrupt weed infested goat track. The new owners are doing nice things and have replaced fine white sand into the hundreds of bunkers. The greens were recently aerated and have recovered but they have not cut or rolled in 2 weeks so, they were running around 7. Tee boxes were basically aerated dirt fairways fine but the rough was dying crabgrass. Really love the layout and variety of holes, greens are huge and challenging. I expect better conditions if they are going to charge $100 to play here. Groomed sand traps, smooth greens, some rye grass rough. I will continue to play at this level of conditions for maybe $50 or less. They have to show me more to pay their rack rates.
Nice course with improvements happening
Played for $69 at 1pm on a Thursday. Pace good. Like layout. A lot of crab grass but saw many nice infrastructure updates going on. New restaurant coming in November. Flowers and plants being planted. Aerated greens recovering nicely. Liked it better than Seaview Pines that we played two days ago.
Very good
They aerated on Monday. But the green was ok. Otherwise, nice course around AC area.
Nice staff
The staff was very helpful and friendly. I came with my nephew and mother to the course with my mother staying behind. The staff helped me without me asking for help. The course was in good shape and the aerated greens were still puttable. We play 9 holes and this course has he earliest tee time of the 18 hole courses one would want to play in the area. I just wish there were more distance makers.
Good Day
The only complaint I have is I booked it on Saturday for a Tuesday round with a friend on GN and there wasn't any mention of aeration of the greens. I had even checked the Vineyard National website and it wasn't mentioned there, until a friend told me you actually had to try to book a round on the website and that's where they had a warning! The rest of the course was in pretty nice shape except the greens were punched and sanded, and the plugs were left next to the greens, just past the first cut .
I wish all courses just posted their maintenance schedules.
Worth the money
Not a lot of options near me. This was definitely worth the trip.
Could be better
Played there a few times over the years course didn't seem to be in the best shape today. Bar area is really nice but drinks are way over priced considering how small they are. Starters and cart girls are very nice and pleasant. But no ranger on course during our round to keep pace of play.
